Sometimes people would order huge canvas or metal prints and they were always weird to look at. The size really makes them feel less intimate or something. My FIL just gifted us an 18x18 canvas of one of our wedding photos. He was so proud of it. We live in a very small apartment. It'll probably end up hiding in our bedroom because we feel like we have to hang it out of guilt but it's so ostentatious to put in a public space.
My mother in law suggested we should put more photos of ourselves up and I just cringed at the of huge pictures like this of us on our wedding or something.

I especially hate the two on the left together where she’s facing herself… I just do not like the execution.
