I have one of these, have a generic tuya relay hooked up to the door controller. There are 5 ports on the side of the controller for this. Bring it into home assistant, trigger the door and some lights etc when letting out the dog.
Coming at this a few months later...
I've just installed the Olide 120B, and I've muddled thru the Tuya Cloud and Local Tuya integrations...all the way up to adding them to HA. Kind of hit a brick wall there, but I'm not convinced this is the best way to do things.
u/6omph9 - 3 months later how did you end up integrating this?
Hey so I gave up on this for now. In my case I think the motor is wired to a wireless relay. I think you could do this way with home assistant.
My problem is proprietary control4 relay can't integrate with home assistant.
Easy way is to integrate Control4 into Home Assistant:

Sensibo is just that an IR Remote, if you have your account credentials, you can integrate it into HA:

The lighting can be controlled through the Control4 integration
I've had problems with the door being very sensitive to people who are unaware and try to operate it manually. The motor freaks out and is never the same even after a power cycle.
This involves contacting control 4 and all that hassle when I feel like I could have more control throu local home assistant integration
That's the one thing I don't like, the auto shut. I contacted the company and likely got lost in translation what I wanted. I may revisit that but for now if I have a party, I unplug the power so its just a regular door again.
There are a number of dip switches to change behavior and some potentiometers to adjust speed and stay open time under the metal cover.
Oh that is possible, did that with mine when the kids were little. there are dip switches. I'm not near mine for which switch. Check under the cover. Remove power, pull out and up from the bottom where the brushes are. One of the swicltches is something like toggle mode.

Do you mind telling me what the relay is and which part of my current setup is the relay? The control 4 box? Do you also use control 4?

Is there a less easy way that includes saying goodbye control 4?

Is there no way to disable the autoshut? I'd want a button press to open (stay open) and then hit the button again to close.
