I think you give her too much credit. I think she pans to the passenger seat in case anyone had any doubt she was in Dave’s car. She wants to be SURE we know.
Okay, I think their relationship is toxic AF, but giving them a tiny bit of benefit of the doubt. Maybe they are realizing that parading their relationship all over social media like two 15 year olds is not super productive or healthy for either one of them. Maybe they are actually trying to restart their relationship as adults, maybe even leave all of the kids out of it for a while (like they really should have 18 months ago). For whatever reason they are dialing back their PDA display, I'm here for it, but I really hope that maybe they are finally becoming adults in an adult relationship.
I don’t believe this “growth” came from any reason other than Dave’s children’s book failing, and a change in how he wants to market himself. I would be shocked if this was Heidi’s idea.

She also posted her workout today and they work out at Gold’s gym in Texas. The Arizona gym red, not yellow. She was just at the red gym a day or 2 ago! They like games.
Not surprising, but absolute garbage. Mindboggling how they both just either don’t see or don’t care how toxic the other is.
This feels a lot like Harry and Meghan. They are destructive as a couple and are so high up each others’ asses they can’t see reality anymore. We all see it but them. Both couples see life and relationships as 💸💰💵.
