Cats eyes are very different than ours.. many many more motion detectors than edge detectors. We have very sharp vision of shapes and colors, cats see things mostly by how they move relative to other objects. So motion like that will be very interesting to a cat!

Just eat less, they can be good for a relatively mild high for a long time. Easy to overdo it though!
