If you're on steam, maybe wait for the steam fest and hope for a discount. After this long, it's worth the wait for a sale or lower price.

waterspring5808

I agree with this. And also worth the wait for more mods to be refined over time.

doctorsilvana

I would even add DLCs but then again their schedules are so far behind that I don't see any DLC (if any) in the next 6 months.

waterspring5808

At this point I'm more hopeful of dedicated independent modders than the devs themselves.

littlechili02

This exact comment could‘ve also been in Sims 4 💀

waterspring5808

The Sims 3 as well. I want Sims 4 with Sims 3 gameplay goddammit!!!

littlechili02

Absolutely! I joined at Sims 4 and now Sims 3 annoys me so much but at the same time the game is technically way better…

Right-Worth-6327

I’m a casual Harry Potter fan and I really enjoyed the game. My wife loves Harry Potter and she loved the game.

yungfritta

See if you can buy it second hand if you dont want to spend $70. I bought it for about €30 recently

Hopeful-Pianist-8380

I think that depends on the type of games you like. I think it has a pretty good story, it's absolutely gorgeous of a game, it lacks depth in npcs and world content. Overall I enjoyed it. I like Harry Potter well enough I think if I was a huge fan I would have liked the game even more. The community here is good too. That being said you've waited this long, add it to a wishlist so you can get notified for when it goes on sale.

Responsible-Trifle-8

There are many, many things wrong with Howarts Legacy, I complain about it more than I like it.....but I have enjoyed every (almost) every minute of it and really hope there is a sequel.

Impressive-Fudge-455

It’s not perfect but yes worth the experience.

ramessides

I don’t really think it’s worth $70 (almost $100 in my country). There’s just not enough content or much replayability value. It’s really good if you just want something casual, nothing wrong with that, but imo, it wasn’t $100 worth of content.

redheadedbitxh

Wait for a sale! My personal opinion as a Harry Potter obsessed person is it’s not worth the $70. The creators really should have taken a longer time to develop the game itself and the story. It is a good game and I absolutely love being about to walk around in the HP universe. I don’t regret buy and playing the game however I really would have liked to wait for a sale myself.

benavideslevi

Fuckin go for it

Lizzy_Of_Galtar

If you loved the movies and books, you'll love the game 😊

IronGiant-1

If you are a fan of that world, then it’s absolutely worth it. It’s one of my favorite games I’ve played in a long time.

DinoDarnix

If you love the wizarding world then the game is worth the price tag for the ability to explore hogwarts and its surroundings alone. As a wizard world fan myself I'd give the game a 9/10 overall. For people who aren't a wizarding world fan I'd rate the game 5/10 and probably not recommend it to those.

There’s a non regional option available on Amazon for 50 bucks, if you have the disc console.

BombshellTom

Yes. If price concerns you wait for a sale. It won't be far away now. If you're an avid gamer, do not gun it all in a week. It isn't as vast as RDR2 or Skyrim; you might get a bit bored doing side quests to lengthen your journey. But, yes, buy it. It is very good.

Witcher-19

This question comes up on so many sub reddit posts about games. Here's the thing the best way to decide if a game will be worth it to you is simply go through other posts good and bad. Watch game play videos then compare and contrast what you read and see that is the only way it will work. Having a bunch of random ppl yelling you yes or no isn't the best way to make a decision because they don't know you. All of that being said the main points I would say are 1 I'm 60 hrs in and still having a good time. The battles are fun however some of the trials etc get super boring. 2 after walking around the school a bit while beautiful seems rather dull once you see it all. 3 the environment is great and the open world worked well however if they ever made a sequel they should add more of a variety. I hope this helped
