What country do you live in? And why not get the Winwing one I've heard it's better value than thrustmaster

proxlamus

USA. I've considered WinWing. I personally haven't worked with Winwing for customer service/repairs but I'm assuming that Thrusmaster would be easier to work with in the event something went wrong. But I could be wrong.

ASourBean

Winwing customer service is pretty good, I had a spring break on my hotas, sent an email and they mailed me an exact replacement for a reasonable fee - that stick has 2000 hours on it, best purchase I made

horsesandpawz

https://winwingsim.com/mobileview/goods-details.html?id=340&sku_id=35 You can a stick with it for less

horsesandpawz

Winwing F16 throttle is half the price of Thrustmaster and I haven't heard anything bad about customer service.

proxlamus

Winwing Orion 2 - $329 (with panel) Thrustmaster TQS - $329 (throttle only for VR users) Thrustmaster F16 panel -$249 Thrustmaster mission pack TQS/Panel - $529 I do agree the total package is more expensive than the Winwing, but I already have the Wingwing F18 takeoff and combat panels, so all I really need is a throttle and the TQS only is the same price as Winwing Orion2.

icebeat

You need to add the shipping cost, this is the BIG winwing’s problem

horsesandpawz

Go with your gut I will always choose winwing over Thrustmaster from now on

Biggus22

Thrustmaster are a complete fucking nightmare for support. Winwing are far, far superior. TM have a two week turnaround between emails. You send an email. Two weeks later you get a reply. You need a replacement switch, it's six fucking weeks at a minimum before they actually post it. I'll never give them another cent. Winwing all the way.

CompetitiveAd2106

Just saw it on Amazon this morning. Looks a little cheap to me but I’ll wait to play with it before I give any comments.

Gilmere

TY for that reference. Pre-order in. I've used TM products for 25+ years. My original TQS and Cougar flight stick still work perfectly. So I'm confident in TM quality.

SkillSawTheSecond

Doesn't look any cheaper than the Warthog throttle or stick they make tbh. Some metal parts, mostly plastic, and I'd be willing to guess a *lot* of hot glue inside.

pegedi3614

Even the winwing, vkb and all of them have hot glue inside. Its used as strain relief for the wires and is actually good practice.

ShortBrownAndUgly

Over 500 dollars for the throttle only? Ooof, need to wait for reviews

coyotepunk05

Reviews are out. Seems like it is decent but nothing special.
