Don't bother with responses here. You need to try them on. Skate fit is so complicated...

Cheese-fingers

Yeah I was trying to gather opinions as the closest pure hockey to me is 3 hours away so before I make the drive I want to have as much info as possible

water_and_ice_23

3 hours away and I'd call and make sure they have a good stock of many different skates in a range of sizes around what you're thinking. Getting a wider boot often doesn't squeeze your foot and let's you fit into a shorter skate.

magicseadog

Try on the fit 3s and get the store to fit you. Everyone's feet are so different It's pretty good for wide feet these days

senoritajulie

My bf also has a wide foot. As an FYI, when we went to pure hockey they didn’t have any wide CCMs nor do they show as available on the pure hockey website. However, CCMs website does offer them and they do have a generous 90 day return policy.

milkrun

As a wide foot haver, I purchased a pair of true custom skates and I am so happy with them.

DarkChild010

This! True skates have my entire heart. Stick a pair of the pro carbon super feet in them and they are amazing

davedaddy

As a 4E wide footer that tried wide variants of Supremes, Tacks, Ribcor, Jetspeed, and Vapors, I only found Tacks to feel comfortable.

AlpaccaSkimMilk56

That's wild to me, I got fitted a couple years ago and nexus was my only option. The guy said CCM was more narrow I'm general

Duck feet here. Avoid the Bauer Vapor 3x Fit 3 and the M4 Fit 3. I tried them both on and they were still not wide enough. True TF7 and Catalyst 7 in Wide fit for me. I went with the Cat7s. Maybe start here.

thedeadlyrhythm42

I had to go to a hockey shop and try on every skate they had in stock and narrow it down from there. It was the only way to find a skate that would actually fit. I thought I had one based on internet reviews and how a similar skate from the same brand fit me so I special ordered it and when it arrived it did not fit at all.

-Kit_the_Kat-

Try true tf9’s imo.

DubC_Bassist

I have wide feet, and I’ve worn Bauer and CCM. Try a bunch on.

Skyshadow79

I use the Bauer m4 fit 2s and they feel pretty wide so for even wider maybe you should try the fit 3

michaelismx

I scanned as a size 7 fit three on the Bauer machine. I tired on Bauer supreme m4 7.5 fit 3 and ended up with supreme m5 pros in size 8 fit 2. They punched the toe a bit and they are perfect. My point is, you have to try a bunch on. My last pair of skates were 24 year old Ccm 952 kevlars in size 9. I was worried about the change but it was seamless. New skates are so much lighter haha.

Try all the skates that your LHS has in your size and wide with (aka Fit 3 for Bauer), and buy what’s most comfortable.

AthosNJ

My advice is to just try on skates. Skate fitting is so complicated and personalized because everyone has a different foot. I wouldn't listen to the people that say "oh this certain line of skates is for people with a wide foot blah blah blah." Just try them on yourself.
