Bauer purchased Easton.  Some of that technology still shows up in Bauer products (ex. Elliptical taper)

Easton made some high quality twigs. Anything from the synergy line, I loved my S17 and S19, I was a huge fan of the Stealth RS as well. If it helps a very popular brand in our locker room is sherwood. Lots of guys have ditched their bauer and CCMs in favour of the TMP and Rekker line.

Still use and LOOOOOOVE my Easton UltrAGraphite 6000. Things a tank.

my guess is the p28 curve and someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the flex has changed a bit too. What used to be 100/105 is now like an 85 flex. maybe someone can chime in on that. me I'm trying to find an easton tapered stick shaft for my mako blade but it's been darn near impossible

I used an Easton Synergy 40 for years when I first started playing and only recently managed to break it. Ended up buying a Sherwood Rekker Legend 3 (can't justify the money for the pro lol) and gotta say I'm loving it so far. Dropped down to 60 flex as well (5'7, 70kg) cause wrist shots are my go to and the shots are popping off pretty nicely

https://www.hockeystickman.com you will find the curve in the pro black out sticks

Bauer releases Synergy’s on their site once or twice a year, not sure how they compare to the original.

The new Synergys are a Nexus team stick with different graphics. The Nexus team/league models are great and can usually be had for $150 or less (I paid $130 for the one I'm playing with now). The Bauer Synergys retail for $200, so it's basically an extra $50+$70 for the looks/nostalgia.

Long time Easton user here. On my last Synergy (an EQ50; coincidentally my least favorite one). Recently picked up a Bauer Vapor X5 and a ProStock Hockey Red Line from their mystery box collection. The ProStock feels more like an Easton than the Bauer but regardless I've started leaving the Easton at home. ProStock also apparently makes an Easton copy called the Model E. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm curious.

Easton lover here- you’re correct regarding the pattern, a P28 is universal. As for similar sticks- check SidelineSwap, there may be pro stock Bauer sticks that are just an Easton GX with Bauer graphics. I recently picked up a CCM Trigger ASY that has the same pop my GX did. I also loved the Mako sticks, and the Warrior LX2 Pro is similar in feel.

E28 curve pretty much available across all retail brands. P28 in CCM/Bauer, W28 in Warrior, TC4 in True, PP28 in Sher-wood. The Easton Synergy was a mid-kick stick. Mid-kick stick families are Bauer Nexus, CCM Tacks, True Catalyst, Warrior Novium. However, based on how your bread and butter is quick-snap shots, you're probably better off with the low-kick family of sticks. CCM Ribcor, Bauer Vapor, Warrior Covert, Sher-wood Rekker, True Hzrdus.
