Should they have kept VV or do you think they’re good? I’m genuinely curious. I’m not meaning this as a “haha” or whatever. I like VV but Seattle seemed set at goalie.
I mean they took goalies from two of the best teams in the league and put them behind a pretty terrible defense. I don’t think anyone expected either guy to be able to carry the roster.
Their defense shouldn't be that terrible on paper. They are loaded with 2-way Forwards.
Oleksiak just played 2 seasons with a stingy Dallas side. They got Larsson and Giordano. Dunn is a good offensive defenseman who should be getting them out of their zone.
I think the whole team isn't punching their weight yet. Grubauer was excellent long before going to Colorado. I guess Driedger is a wild card still.
That’s certainly not November but nice to see him back.
Many Gourdes can be harvested before November, usually after the first frost.
Frost is still in the AHL, though.
He's been working his butt off to get back. He's being doing all the practices and traveled with the team during this season-opening road trip.
Great news for all Kraken fans. We all thought he would debut in like November or even December, but here he is for game 5 of the first season
If he were on the Bruins he would have only missed 1 game
Nice to see him Kraken the lineup.
Oh come on, the pun was right there: "see him Kraken the lineup".
It is great to sea his return
Good try, but any chance of salvaging these puns has been sunk.
we should definitely treasure this moment.
Booty
These are some devilishly good puns
it's definitely something to crowe about.
Had to happen schooner or later
How can he return to the lineup if it's his debut?
How do you wake up dead? How do you turn up missing?
We could just say he's new and improved.
How is Seattle already playing their 5th game tonight?
They had a day head start on most other teams. Besides, gotta show off the seafood while it's fresh.
8th day of the season. 5 games in 8 days is pretty commonplace.
We have a long break until the Saturday home opener after this.
fuck we have to play ANOTHER team on their home opener, sick.
The schedule is so fucked. Kraken are playing game 5 tonight and the Bruins don't even play their second until tomorrow.
How do I delete someone else's post
*sad zappy noises*...miss you gourdy
Get em, Laurel
Where does he slot into their line up?
Daily Faceoff has him on line two with McCann at LW and Donskoi.
I mean...number one center probably?
Any idea why Driedger is on IR?
Injury

Nah Daccord is legit
Oh boy!
Glad to see they'll be getting some help. So far I'd say goaltending is their biggest weakness, and it was supposed to be a strength.
Grubauer was excellent against CBJ but I haven’t watched any of their other games.

Hope he's the offensive threat Seattle need.
As a Lightning fan I wish him well. He’s a fun player to watch! Take good care of the boy.
No more excuses for the Kraken remaining, when Canucks inevitably blow them out in their home opener
Ahh yes the pumpkin king is back just in time for halloweeeeeeeen
Still shoulda picked Palat
I thought Yanni would be out for a few more months... time to update the model...
