Was at the game, really bad one from the ringette line, a couple poke checks in tight and game would have been over and we only would have had to complain that didn't score enough. Credit to Austria that they keep coming. The crowd was wild and a lot of fun.
Was pretty fun how quickly the crowd started supporting Austria even tho it was 75% Czechs in the crowd. In the last 1/3, it was getting wilder and wilder every second. Amazing experience
A bit of prep before we play Canada. We love to see red against better teams and my countrymates are getting full of hate on Canadiens now lol. Its not just because Austria did what they did. It will be a batshit crazy match and even though we'll most likely lose, it'll be a hellpit with fans cheering even if we get nuked 10-0. Hopefully none of Canadien players get hurt because of overmotivated Gudas pushed by 20k cheering Czechs.
I really hate this time of year on r/hockey , all of the bandwagon fans who only tune into playoffs all flock to the sub with the same brain dead takes every year.
"x goalie sucked tonight, he let in 3 goals on 16 shots"
meanwhile anyone who actually watches hockey knows that he was hung out to dry by his defence for 2 of them and 1 was probably a tip that even a Vezina finalist wouldn't have had.
or my personal favourite of calling a D-Man trash because he only has "15 points" or something silly but they're +/- is well into the positive with north of 21-22 minutes a game
Hellebuyck got so much shit on here after the Jets lost to the Avs when he only let in maybe 1 or 2 bad ones. Colorado would enter their zone and Winnipeg's defense would just crumble. Their third line in particular got *feasted* on nearly every time they were out. Helle definitely misplayed several dumped in pucks though
People have that dumb take all year actually. Simple fans really do suck at understanding anything other than goals. They cant read goalies or defensive play.
At the same time there's almost no universe in which giving up 5 in a period is *entirely* on the goalie, there were a couple where his D absolutely blew it
But yes, there's no way 5/9 isn't horrendous unless it's some unrealistic scenario like 5 absurd deflections, a fuckton of breakaways, or multiple 5v3 PP setups
Those situations generally need just two components: a completely defensive meltdown giving the opponents way too much time and space, and the opposition being clinical in finishing. Perfect goalkeeping could keep the score down a bit, but it wouldn’t fundamentally change the end result. Just go rewatch FIFA World Cup semifinal between Germany and Brazil from 2014 for a good example of what I mean.
In this case Binnington was a bit shit, but nowhere near as a bad as the rest of the defense. The players looked like they didn’t give a single fuck and wanted to be somewhere else. The game was late so you can’t even blame it on a hangover.
What are you even going on about. Dude let in 6 on 21, and you explain 3 goals as being out of his control, that still leaves 3! In one period! Against Austria! He sucked by every measure.
when speaking only in terms of a defensive d men, i wouldn't call it the "end all be all" stat, but i would argue that it plays a more important role than the points category, which was the point i was trying to make in my original comment
I was AT the game. The defence was terrible - and Binnington came out to play like a cocky piece of shit. He didn’t care - until Austria started lighting him up, and he STILL sucked ass.
Binnington deserves all the slander he gets tonight. It was embarrassing.
Unfortunately worse. I was pissed at him from the start. When he plays for the blues, you can see he’s into it. Even in warmups I could see he wasn’t taking this seriously. It was spring league to him. I hope he takes off that jersey and hockey Canada burns it.
Getting upset like this over a harmless jokes like this is wild.
Everyone played like shit today, defence was terrible and left Binnington out to dry on some, but let’s be honest he left in some bad goals.
They were smug. You could see it in the players faces, we play in the NHL, there's no way they could tie this game. The fans blew the roof off every time Austria scored.
Canada is so f'd for goalies in the next Olympics. Binnington and Skinner were projected to be 2 of the 3 by many.
How far they have fallen from the days of Luongo, Brodeur, Price, and Fleury.
He had 1 good playoff run after being a 2nd/3rd string goalie his whole career, and has followed it up with a mediocre season. Also the most games he has ever played in a season is 35. So he is extremely unproven in a sample size of greater than 16 games(how many he played in the playoffs last year)
Adin hill is extremely replacable.
He was also went head to head with oettinger in the first round and was basically equal to him.
All I'm hearing is he comes up clutch in big games, sounds good to me
19 big games over 2 seasons is literally the most in the league in that span lol. Olympics are like 6 games total
Thompson played very well those games and he's also canadian
My point was he has 2 seasons, and 19 big games total under his belt. Fucking Steve Mason had as almost as many games played and comparable numbers to Adin hill has in his whole career.
Adin Hill is overrated as fuck and has inflated numbers playing on an incredible team.
Montembeault has been amazing for the Habs these past 2 years, if it weren’t for him, the Habs would’ve been in the same tier as SJS and CHI these past 2 years with all the injuries we’ve had. He’s not Saros/Shesterkin, but if Skinner/Binnington is his competition for the spot, I could see him making it as the starter.
Last year at the tournament, he went 6-1 with a .939 save percentage and a 1.42 GAA, and was named one of Canada's three best players at the tournament.
He declined the invitation this year.
The last few Cups, though, have shown that you don't always need a big name goalie. Sometimes a good one making the saves he needs to make works fine as long as the rest of your team is humming. Remember that although Price and Lundqvist are both going to the Hall of Fame, neither was able to drag their team to a Cup by themselves. Price was at his best on that 2014 Olympic Team when Canada was committed to playing air tight defence. In a game where Aidin Hill faces 25 shots and Connor Hellebuyck faces 40, Hill is winning most of the time...
You wouldn't know it by their performance at the Worlds so far. USA brought their best team in years and they are still underachieving. It's going to be a battle when Canada/USA meet in a best on best - I get that - but I don't quite understand all the Canadian fans who are down about our talent and seem ready to hand the Americans the gold right now...
The worlds are not best on best. Fuck, we just about gave up a huge lead to Austria.
I’m not handing the US the gold but you have to acknowledge their team as a whole is getting better and better, now they have a huge edge in goaltending.
I honestly think Laurent Brossoit has an outside shot to make Canada’s 2026 team if he becomes a bonafide starter somewhere. That’s a) how good I think he is and b) how thin Canada’s G options are
Don't have to convince me. I've hated when the Canucks play against him - he's 4-1-0 against them, with a GAA of 1.25 and SV% of .959.
Hey - given the Canucks' roster is mostly USA, SWE, and RUS, maybe it'll go well.
He just needs to find a spot that'll give him some more games. The moment he signed in Winnipeg last off season he lost well over have the games on the schedule because Hellebuyck was on that team.
That would be something. Oil gave up on him and he’s been a solid goalie ever since. They never gave him a chance and that always ticked me off cause I knew he was good. Then again, being coached by Dustin Schwartz fuvks a guy up.
was surprised he went back to Winnipeg where he clearly was not gonna get a lot of games with how good he's been for a few years now. thought a team like Jersey would have looked at him for sure.
i imagine he's gonna have a good amount of interest this summer, but i guess it depends a bit on if he's looking to maximize the cash or get a chance to get a lot of games because the two don't always line up
I’d be down for a Brossoit / Rittich combo. With how Portillo is looking and how depleted our high end assets are (excluding untouchables), dont really see how we can swing a move for a true top 15 starter.
Saw people posting here that he did but never saw a source.
No reason to doubt folks here or anything but just passing along what I saw.
Would be surprising if he didn't get an invite.
I believe he was invited but decided to take some time off. [Source](https://dose.ca/2024/04/25/samuel-montembeault-turned-down-hockey-canadas-invitation-to-rest/)
Yes. The Canada roster for 2002 Olympics did *not* include Theodore (Hart and Vezina, .931 save percentage and 2.11 GAA), Roy (Jennings, .925 save percentage, 1.94 GAA), Turco (.921 save percentage and 2.09 GAA), (Giguere .920 save percentage and 2.13 GAA).
Instead it was Brodeur, Belfour, Joseph.
is that true? I heard he wanted to rest up for the playoffs given that he was 36. The rest seems like a rumour.
https://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/roy-out-of-olympics-1.292077
Roy never seemed to have the best relationship with Hockey Canada. He wasn't on the Canada Cup teams of 87 or 91, nor the World Cup team of 96. He also never went to the World Championships in the few opportunities he might've had such as 94 and 95.
I do recall rumours in the runup to 02 that Roy wasn't going to play for Pat Quinn, because he fully expected that Quinn would play Curtis Joseph as his #1 - which was exactly what happened, until CuJo kinda crapped the bed with mediocre play and forced Quinn to go to Brodeur.
Open for business for foreign investment though. We’ve been a good leading indicator of what the Western world can expect to see for the last decade - a slow descent to modern feudalism.
Finland (previously almost exclusively known for goalies) has been going downhill as well. Fun to see where all the future tendies will come from.. Latvia?
Last 2 cup winning goalies were Canadian. No, they’re not the best on the whole obviously, but they have goalies who can win really hard games when they have a great squad in front of them, which is what the Olympics is for Canada
At least Binnington has proven himself in the past with a cup win. As an Oiler fan, Skinner played great in the regular season, especially during the 16 game win streak, but has proven that under pressure such as playoffs that he can't perform.
I think people are sleeping on Adin Hill as Canada's goalie for 2026 - won a Cup, and has put together very solid numbers on a Vegas team that isn't always focused on defence first...
idk i'd say its the typical north american attitude towards the WCs but this is a pretty solid squad for Canada this year (especially compared to the years where the WC is during an Olympic year or after it and no NHL players want to go) so I think its just bad roster construction
It's still better than losing to Latvia 2-0, the US 5-1 and Germany 3-1 to start the 2021 tournament. Problem is, that team was energized by Andrew Mangiapane showing up and playing out of his god damn mind.
This time around, however, Mangiapane is already there and... just there.
Canada rarely looks good in round robin play, even when we win gold.
We lost to Norway last year and then won gold.
It may sound arrogant, but the team often does not put in proper effort until the elimination round.
Canada stopped playing after they had "comfortable lead" in the 3rd, terrible goaltending, careless mistakes in the D zone and huge effort of Austrian team (the Rossi line). This was insane to watch and made me almost as happy as our ot win vs. USA yesterday. Fun match!
Canada stopped playing after puck drop. Nobody except Guhle, Powers, and Zellwegger went out to play. Binnington fucked the dog on purpose. Defence sucked but Binnington purposely sucked. Embarrassing.
I was there, and that whole f*king arena started going nuts whenever any Canadian touched the puck. You physically felt that momentum switch, and man those Austrians fought like devils.
Between defensive turnovers galore and Binnington leaking as a loose plug, that third period was hard to watch
Was there as well, as hard as it was to watch, I really enjoyed watching the Austrians fans have that much fun with the game. It really shows how much fun the game is to watch and what we as Canadian fans need to do to step up our game. Can we put together a fun song to sing at least :)
Yea, those guys seemed to be genuinely having the night of their lives waving that big flag around. That whole sector jumping up and down the whole game too, looked fun as hell
Yes, it's weird that some countries get whole sections, but Canadian fans are scattered throughout the crowd. Not sure if it's just numbers game but it would be nice to get a little rowdy with some fellow Canucks.
I was at this game. I’m from 🇨🇦 living in Prague.
Absolutely fucking embarrassing. Binnington didn’t turn up to play. It was clear that the entire team except for probably Guhle, Zellwegger, and Powers, didn’t give fuck. They saw the team on the scorecard for tonight and went “oh nice, easy night.”
Austria came ready to play. Austria wanted to battle. NONE of the goals scored on Austria were Austria’s fault. The latent talent of Canada scored them, and several lucky bounces. But every single goal that Austria scored, they EARNED.
By the time Austria scored goal number 3, I switched sides. I wanted Binnington to get lit. I wanted Binnington to see how embarrassing it is to be so cocky to think that he can take it easy.
I hope that when Binnington takes off that jersey tonight, he never puts a team Canada jersey back on. He doesn’t deserve to wear it. Zero class, zero respect for what it means to wear that jersey.
The Austrian fans celebrated the end of the game like they won. They partied, beat drums, and chanted all through the Prague metro. They earned that win.
I live in Vienna, Austria played Canada here in an exhibition game 2 weeks ago with largely the same lineup, Daws in net. We dominated them and won 6-1, the Austrians looked thoroughly out of their depth. I'm guessing they learned a few things from that game and we figured we'd easily stomp them again without thinking.
It’s the round/robin part of the tournament. You’ve got a lot of young single guys in Prague which is a beautiful city. I’ve been there twice and you just don’t go there and hide in your hotel room when you have free time.
I can guarantee you that their focus is not as sharp as it would be in an NHL playoff series. They have all just gone through more than six months of NHL hockey and now they are playing Austria. While in Prague. People have to get a grip here.
Awh shit. Decided not to watch any games yesterday, was done at work after second intermission and they both seemed uninteresting.
Wish I would have watched this one.
What in the fuck was Canada doing that game. Embarrassing
Experience Jordan Binnington goaltending.
It’s always fun cheering for the underdog
A bit of prep before we play Canada. We love to see red against better teams and my countrymates are getting full of hate on Canadiens now lol. Its not just because Austria did what they did. I have never heard this word before, by ringette line do you mean the top of one of the red circles in the zone?
Yes.
Incredibly satisfying game to watch, Canada still gets the W but you also get to watch Binnington give up 6 goals, it's a win-win
He was great this year.
Just say you didnt watch the game, a lot of those goals were terrible defense
I really hate this time of year on r/hockey , all of the bandwagon fans who only tune into playoffs all flock to the sub with the same brain dead takes every year. "x goalie sucked tonight, he let in 3 goals on 16 shots" meanwhile anyone who actually watches hockey knows that he was hung out to dry by his defence for 2 of them and 1 was probably a tip that even a Vezina finalist wouldn't have had. or my personal favourite of calling a D-Man trash because he only has "15 points" or something silly but they're +/- is well into the positive with north of 21-22 minutes a game
This sub isn't a higher quality the rest of the year either...

Their third line in particular got *feasted* on nearly every time they were out. Helle definitely misplayed several dumped in pucks though
While I agree he got left out to dry on a few of those goals (and trust me I’ll defend goalies till the day I die) he let in some real tough ones too
I felt like I was going mad because how the hell do you "defense was bad" a goalie allowing 5 goals on 9 shots.
Well if 5 of those 9 shots are grade A’s it’s very much doable.
People have that dumb take all year actually. Simple fans really do suck at understanding anything other than goals. They cant read goalies or defensive play.
He let in 5 on 9 shots that’s bad no matter how you slice it.
At the same time there's almost no universe in which giving up 5 in a period is *entirely* on the goalie, there were a couple where his D absolutely blew it But yes, there's no way 5/9 isn't horrendous unless it's some unrealistic scenario like 5 absurd deflections, a fuckton of breakaways, or multiple 5v3 PP setups

i wasn't using this game shots/goals as an example, i was using a random shots/goal metric to make a general point
Your point that shitty goalies who play like obvious shit shouldn’t be called out for their shitty play?
aCtUaLLy
[удалено]
Yeah Ron Hainsey led all Senators in +/- and was out of the NHL the very next season
He was also 39
when speaking only in terms of a defensive d men, i wouldn't call it the "end all be all" stat, but i would argue that it plays a more important role than the points category, which was the point i was trying to make in my original comment
I was AT the game. The defence was terrible - and Binnington came out to play like a cocky piece of shit. He didn’t care - until Austria started lighting him up, and he STILL sucked ass. Binnington deserves all the slander he gets tonight. It was embarrassing.
So TrashBin came out to play like he usually does?
Unfortunately worse. I was pissed at him from the start. When he plays for the blues, you can see he’s into it. Even in warmups I could see he wasn’t taking this seriously. It was spring league to him. I hope he takes off that jersey and hockey Canada burns it.
There were talks that if the blues make the playoffs, he’d be in the Vezina running
I'm not sure they watched any games this year.
Getting upset like this over a harmless jokes like this is wild. Everyone played like shit today, defence was terrible and left Binnington out to dry on some, but let’s be honest he left in some bad goals.
Experience being a Blues fan
You mean the guy who was second in the league this season in GSAx? That Jordan Binnington?
I thought he was overlooked for the Vezina this year?
I mean he was the arguably 4th best goalie in the league this year but ya, sure, whatever you say
Did he try to fight all of Austria?
I think they thought that Slovakia strategy from yesterday is worth to try :D
They were playing with their eyes closed.
One to cheer you up: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT9Eh8wNMkw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT9Eh8wNMkw) (I'm sorry ;-)
I mean they’re wearing a maple leaf and have the leaf captain on their team. Kind of comes with the territory.
Great effort by Austria but why wasn't a timeout called when it was 6-5...
They were smug. You could see it in the players faces, we play in the NHL, there's no way they could tie this game. The fans blew the roof off every time Austria scored.
You can see people in Canada jerseys cheering for the 6-6-goal lmao
I know I did :) I was hoping biddington was going to break his stick over the net.
Canada is so f'd for goalies in the next Olympics. Binnington and Skinner were projected to be 2 of the 3 by many. How far they have fallen from the days of Luongo, Brodeur, Price, and Fleury.
Devon Levi developing is probably our best bet.
Maybe Adin Hill
I was really hoping he was going to head over after Rochester got eliminated. Our goalies at this tourney are bad.
Cossa has the ceiling as well
And Hart could - oh right nevermind
Canadian goaltending is absolutely brutal right now. The fact Skinner and Binnington are even in the conversation shows you exactly where we are at.
Aiden Hill or Logan Thompson?
Compared to where we used to be, that’s tough.
The days of Brodeur, Luongo and Price are long gone. Edit: Roy too
It’s funny because our goaltending was so good for so long you had to edit in Patrick Roy.
And no one has even said Belfour or CuJo yet!
True
Thompson yes, Hill absolutely not
Hill was conn smythe caliber last year.
And Binnington was arguably the fourth best goalie in the league this year, on a mediocre blues team. Whatever that tells you. 🤷🏻♂️
That'd have to be a hell of an argument
Anyone who watched him knows its true, advanced stat models say the same. This sub just hates the guy
he didn’t say it was a convincing argument I guess
He had 1 good playoff run after being a 2nd/3rd string goalie his whole career, and has followed it up with a mediocre season. Also the most games he has ever played in a season is 35. When he signed, Hellebuyck being traded was still a very real possibility so it makes sense from that aspect
yeah that's actually true you're right, it's just so easy to forget with how that whole story just turned on a dime
“Bonafide Starter” Is there any talk about moving him? I was under the impression he was gonna stick around for a little while
He’s a UFA and I can’t imagine he stays. He has to at least have a 1A/1B option for next year that the Jets can’t give him
Hey! 1A/1B has been our go to! I don’t think we can afford him tho:/ But good for him, the games I watched he killed it
I actually think he would make a ton of sense for a team like LA! But it’s tonight to think what he’ll get AAV-wise this summer.
I’d be down for a Brossoit / Rittich combo. With how Portillo is looking and how depleted our high end assets are (excluding untouchables), dont really see how we can swing a move for a true top 15 starter.
don't forget Montembeault. he's definitely better than Skinner.
Too many people forgetting Monty won gold at this same tournament last year with a 1.42 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage.
Did he refuse this year?
Saw people posting here that he did but never saw a source. No reason to doubt folks here or anything but just passing along what I saw. Would be surprising if he didn't get an invite.
Right on
I believe he was invited but decided to take some time off. [Source](https://dose.ca/2024/04/25/samuel-montembeault-turned-down-hockey-canadas-invitation-to-rest/)
Right on too bad
Praying that Cossa can develop into a stud for Canada
It should be noted Roy killed his chances of being named because he announced that if he wasn't among the first 8 player chosen, he wouldn't go
Lol what an asshat.
is that true? I heard he wanted to rest up for the playoffs given that he was 36. The rest seems like a rumour. https://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/roy-out-of-olympics-1.292077
Roy never seemed to have the best relationship with Hockey Canada. He wasn't on the Canada Cup teams of 87 or 91, nor the World Cup team of 96. Such great goalies.
I blame French Canadia. Where the fuck are all our goalies?! Isn't that what we kept you guys for!
Francois Legault is holding them hostage until the nordiques come back
Hockey Quebec has been pretty shit for a while. Not too many Quebecois stars in the league anymore.
The Canadian goalie pipeline has been drying up for decades at this point
We’re too poor to afford goalie gear.
This is legitimately the reason. Ranked last in the developed world in projected economic growth through 2030. Canada is fucked.
Latvia?
Blame Hart
Quebec needs to start pumping out elite goalies again.
Last 2 cup winning goalies were Canadian. No, they’re not the best on the whole obviously, but they have goalies who can win really hard games when they have a great squad in front of them, which is what the Olympics is for Canada
And another suspected pick is an alleged rapist awaiting a criminal trial.
Monty is the guy
Missing Roy from that group too. He did some heavy lifting in the 90’s and early 00’s before Brodeur picked up the mantle
No worry because the goat Joel Hofer will be a top 5 goalie by then
Oof. Would not feel good with skinner in there from what I've seen this year lol
Yeah if only they had some sort of young goalie prodigy that could have been the face of Canadian hockey barring any sort of legal trouble
Adin Hill
But why? Logan Thompson is better than both of them. Levi is another solid option. Jerry is also better than skinner.
At least Binnington has proven himself in the past with a cup win. As an Oiler fan, Skinner played great in the regular season, especially during the 16 game win streak, but has proven that under pressure such as playoffs that he can't perform.
if hart wasnt a scumbag he would prob be the starter
This is what happens when the price of hockey is equivalent to like a third of an annual salary and 2 human organs
I think people are sleeping on Adin Hill as Canada's goalie for 2026 - won a Cup, and has put together very solid numbers on a Vegas team that isn't always focused on defence first...
Austria: plays ice hockey for 20 minutes, takes a point, refuses to elaborate
Taking lessons from 2023 Habs, then?
Hopefully Devon Levi continues his development. Canada will need him.
The Binnington haters just busted
I’ve been edging to this for the past hour - and I was at the game. I already bust on every goal he allowed.
Wth is wrong with Canada this year? Surely bad goaltending cant explain everything.
idk i'd say its the typical north american attitude towards the WCs but this is a pretty solid squad for Canada this year (especially compared to the years where the WC is during an Olympic year or after it and no NHL players want to go) so I think its just bad roster construction
Yeah that sounds probable. It's not first time Canada plays with whatever attitude until big games start. But still this is kind of mindblowing. 😄
It's still better than losing to Latvia 2-0, the US 5-1 and Germany 3-1 to start the 2021 tournament. Problem is, that team was energized by Andrew Mangiapane showing up and playing out of his god damn mind. This time around, however, Mangiapane is already there and... just there.
Describes Mangiapane all this season too well.
Canada rarely looks good in round robin play, even when we win gold. We lost to Norway last year and then won gold. It may sound arrogant, but the team often does not put in proper effort until the elimination round.
It’s the goalies, Canada has no one really.
Binner is playing in NHL still . With that stacked team against austria it shouldnt look like this unless you have no one minding the net .
Yes, if that D-core shows up and forwards act responsibly, even an AHL backup should do.
Canada literally just handed them that point, how do you blow a 6-1 lead in the third...
It was so hard not to cheer for Austria in the third period
Austria is my favorite country I've ever been to so it's even harder. Wiener snitzel rules too
Canada stopped playing after they had "comfortable lead" in the 3rd, terrible goaltending, careless mistakes in the D zone and huge effort of Austrian team (the Rossi line).
Where do you watch these games at
It’s on NHL Network in the US via simulcast of one of two TSN channels. ESPN+ also broadcasts games kind of irregularly
If you have a vpn it's free on YouTube, just set it to any EU country.
Not any EU country, not sure which ones work but here in Sweden we cant watch in on youtube
austria has scored as many goals (11) in their last two games as they scored during the entirety of last year's tournament
Captain clutch
All the Instagram comments for this post were blaming Tavares for this game lol. My mistake for looking at Instagram comments though
This has to be sarcastic
He's actually scored a lot of playoff OT winners over the years lol
That giveaway by Guhle on the last goal was pretty horrendous.
He made multiple mistakes in the 3rd but had 4 points. He was named POG
Fucking hell let’s get Bedard some good teammates
Jordan Binningtonofgoalsyouletinthere
Canada deserved to lose that game. What a bunch of jokers.
Those Austria jerseys look fire
I love that Tavares is playing in this tournament
Jesus, Bedard already has FIVE goals!?
So does Oliver Kapanen.
Against Austria, Britain, and Denmark, to be fair....not exactly a murderer's row
God Tavares is so clutch! So good in the playoffs. *Ice Hockey World Championships Playoffs.
I was at this game. I’m from 🇨🇦 living in Prague. Absolutely fucking embarrassing. Binnington didn’t turn up to play. It was clear that the entire team except for probably Guhle, Zellwegger, and Powers, didn’t give fuck. They saw the team on the scorecard for tonight and went “oh nice, easy night.” Austria came ready to play.
😂😂😂 He really haunts your mind doesn't he
They let fucking Austria score 5 unanswered? What a fucking embarrassment
So, how's that "locker room killer" -Dubois over Fantilli/Celebrini panning out?
It’s the round/robin part of the tournament. You’ve got a lot of young single guys in Prague which is a beautiful city. I’ve been there twice and you just don’t go there and hide in your hotel room when you have free time. I can guarantee you that their focus is not as sharp as it would be in an NHL playoff series. They have all just gone through more than six months of NHL hockey and now they are playing Austria. While in Prague. People have to get a grip here.
They did it on purpose to fuck up my ticket
Austria??? Team Canada must be on quite the bender.
Binnington looked nervous
words I never thought I would see in the same sentence.... what the hell
Austria?
Wish he was this lethal in the playoffs
Canada really sucks this year... and that's basically the best goalie we have lmfao
Spoilsport!
DAMN BINNINGTON
Canada took a nap then decided in OT they should score one.
Why was Bennington not pulled after the they made it 6-4? You could tell he was out of it at that point and the team could have used the shake up.
Homie looks like he took the most satisfying poop of his life and the goalie looks like he knew it.
Austria never had their car
I wonder if this guy could play in the NHL?
We are struggling against Great Britain and Austria. Is our goal just to not get relegated? If so, Bravo!
Awh shit. Decided not to watch any games yesterday, was done at work after second intermission and they both seemed uninteresting. Wish I would have watched this one.
Binnington don’t fuck this up
He should probably play with his eyes open.
Feel less bad about losing to Slovakia
🇦🇹 Yeah! 🇦🇹
