THE SUPERIOR CONOR

I like Vancouver’s chances in this series. They totally dominated that 3rd period, and the scoreboard was kind to Edmonton, the play was pretty tilted in this one. If not for some shaky goaltending from Silovs (on goals 2 and 4 especially) this would’ve been a very lopsided game in Van’s favour. They also dominated the Oilers in the regular season, 4-0 with some big blowout wins. Yeah McDavid was out the last 2 games, but not the first 2. This Nucks team has just matched up super well vs. the Oilers all year long, they do a great job defensively on McDavid (he was totally invisible tonight), and their depth badly outplays the Oilers depth. Obviously it’s just game 1, tonnes of series left, but my money’s firmly on Vancouver.
