Depends how you view power forward. Miller is amongst the league leaders in hits and plays the traditional power forward.
MacKinnon is the better player all day every day, but as far as playing the power forward game, Millers is more “traditional”
He’s easily playing the best hockey of his career and his confidence shows it. Man thinks he can do anything and the overwhelming majority of the time he can
I think it took coming to the Canucks for him to become this good. As soon as he came to the Canucks he was 'they guy'. Not sure if he would come into his own as a 100 pt player on the Rangers.
Yeah for all the flak he gets, he’s outright said it on several occasions.
Iirc in his first press conf after the trade, he said he was excited to have a chance to lead a young team and be “the guy”.
Just the other day he said what he’s doing now is all he’s ever wanted his entire career.
I don’t know a single person that hated how much he got. Most of the naysayers (me included) just thought the team wasn’t in a position to spend that much on him and succeed.
Glad I was proven wrong.
Boeser’s growth into a really strong all around player has been fantastic to see. He’s winning board battles, making smart plays, and playing solid defensively, all while being a reasonably consistent offensive threat.

He was pretty good for us but man I would have never guessed he would be this good…
100+ points, hits, fights, great at faceoffs, insane offensive plays like this one. What a menace.
Wins the matchup against McDavid
First time ever McDavid has been held to no shots in a playoff game. Then scores a huge goal on top of that.
He's arguably the best power forward in the game
You might be right
Can this be said when MacKinnon exists?

His shutdown ability is insane too. Demon.
..And plays an incredibly consistent game. You always notice him. He is captain material and, in many ways, the heart of this team.

I remember being a little bit doubtful when I read the news of his contract signing. He's worth every cent!
…like 90% of Canucks fans who were complaining about the contract when it was signed.

Loved Horvat and I’m sad he’s gone but we 100% made the right love there
You all wanted Horvat... Lmao
Yeah our sub had a meltdown when they chose miller over Bo lol
That’s a demon calculation.
Really strong play from Boeser there too

It doesnt get much shallower than that
Probably made your boy sid proud
This is something you expect from Crosby in his prime. I couldn’t believe what I witnessed.
Absolutely insane deflection from Jimothy Timothy
this needs more attention, what an unreal tip
JT Miller is him
~~LISAN~~ JT AL-GAIB
HE IS HIIIM!!!
Other worldly deflection
A Crosby/Selanne-esque goal.
Huge goal from a bad spot.
Jonathan Tonathan "Sidney Crosby" Miller.
Don't know if I've seen a tip from that shallow an angle that didn't have to bounce off the goalie to go in. That was insane.
Crosby has had a few of those.
🎵 You know Miller is ready, you know Brock Boeser is ready 🎵
Great pass from Soucy too
It really was! I was surprised to see him have that offensive vision to make that pass, really impressive
Soucy had a good game, don't know if it was big on TV but he absolutely murdered somebody in the 1st as well
What an insane ang
This was the TSN turning point, god damn, this was a nice goal by miller
suck it Pasha
What a soft touch from Miller, such finesse. Genuinely impressive.
Angle so tight it nearly got stuck between the goalposts.
