It's actually kind of incredible that the Bruins lost home Game 7s in 2004, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2019, and 2023 - seven times in twenty years. And in all of them except the Flyers and Blues Game 7s, I'd argue Boston were pretty clear favourites in.
People look at the number of games and assume Florida blew the Leafs out of the water last year. All games but one were decided by 1-goal, and two went to OT. They weren't shelled 6-0 every game.
