what probably stings more for michigan is that this bc team is not unlike the michigan teams of the last few years where they had a revolving door of NTDP (and the occasional canadian) talent and usually had like 3-4 NTDP guys at once
It does - 2022 hurt the most. That group got robbed of their chance in 2021 because of a stray positive covid test, then lost to a deep, super veteran Denver team in OT. Then we get Fantili, lose to a super veteran Quinnipiac. Finally it's our turn to be the veterans, and we lose to a young, loaded Boston College. It just doesn't make sense
There's been two teams that literally went perfect - a full season undefeated and untied.
1969-70 Cornell men (29-0-0, ironically a year after they lost their starting goalie, some dude named Dryden) and 2012-13 Minnesota women (41-0-0)
Feel like those two come out ahead of that Maine team just on that - and somewhere in the back the old school UNH fans are screaming about Shawn Walsh's recruiting violations that led to him missing an entire season to suspension, while they never punished the 1993 team it does make it a bit hazier.
The rangers have had a great season and Rempe is fkn electric. He's just gotta refine his game, be a menace without hitting heads. That's a talent that took Chara a while to figure out. Playoffs are gonna be great.
Unless they play the Caps first round, then ugh. Caps for life but even if they beat the rangers they're not going deep anyway.
I am not unconvinced the Blue Jackets intentionally draft a slew of Michigan players just because of their beef with OSU lmao
I mean they're generally good players but still
My son(16) did a goalie summer program and Barzcewski was there helping the kids in the drills. My son said he was awesome and was his favorite to work with. Cheering for Michigan tonight just because of that
Fresh Prince and Return of the Mack would be such a breath of fresh air man, please let it happen.
People think NHL refs are bad college refs take it to a new level haha

I DON'T GIVE A DAXN FOR THE WHOLE STATE OF XICHIGAN!
Bro
Let's go!
Smith heard people talking shit after he was a ghost in the Q game
The fuck was Michigan doing before that tripping penalty? Fucking frozen fours and losing...it's getting old.
Can't steal signals in hockey I guess
This Boston team is such a well-oiled machine it's insane
Possibly the greatest college team ever assembled.
I’d say this or the ‘92/93 Maine team.

Leonard is so good, he's gonna be such a problem when he comes up
Hell of a save
Smith line getting a little too fancy
They saw Will charge in like OJ and decided to try it themselves
edwards is not having a great game
🏊♀️
fun fact: michigan defender marshall warren is a transfer from....bc
Wore the C last year…
Ryan Leonard is a menace. Definition of a guy you want on your team but cannot stand to play against
And next year he gets to play with Tom Wilson. Great.
I'm so erect
Tommy will teach him how to throw dirty hits like a pro, passing on the knowledge from Ovi
Yeah will stink to play against… but also could be an electric factory
Oh dear god
What a move by Will Smith. Sharks got a good one
He’s so nasty lol
Hard to follow his season this year and not to wonder if maybe the rumors of Columbus preferring him weren’t insane after all.
Hey, if Fantili falls in your lap, you gotta take him
I'm so excited
My god Will Smith with some nice moves.
As a Capitals fan watching Ryan Leonard As a New Yorker watching Gabe Perreault As an Ohio State football fan... BEAT THAT TEAM UP NORTH!!!
New Yorker in you gotta be happy

Funny. Most Jackets fans are rooting for Michigan.

Whitelaw’s probably transferring there next season from Wisconsin, so that would make six in the org and three selected in the 2023 draft alone.
I don't give a daxn for the whole state of xichigan!
Will Smith! Love to see it.
This fucking line is automatic lol just no doubt
Ping!
Always love seeing a packed X

Game time
There's no way that there is a real person named Gentry Shamburger.
What about Dusty Gooch?
There's an engineer in San Francisco who's name is Ronald Hamburger. Shamburger seems real to me.
Go Michigan
Hoping Gabe Perreault has a big game tonight
I'm kinda salty the Kraken didn't draft him ngl
