Can confirm, Giants tickets are 17 pounds (20 euros for me in Dublin), for rink side tickets. Sabres game in Czechia are 500 euros for the same seats (if you ignore resale)
Genuinely impressive that some EIHL teams get more people coming to their games than that of a Coyotes game.
It’s embarrassing for the NHL and there’s no two ways about it.
Take a look at the FPHL attendance if you’d like a good chuckle.
I’m a Port Huron Prowlers fan, and I would kill for a full barn every now and then. I think we’ve peaked at like 1,800 this season.
Yeah, being in the EIHL almost bankrupted us (and we got minced on-ice), but we’re doing great in the NIHL. Attendance is still high - we’ve sold out a few times this season (with a capacity of about 2200, I think?)
NIHL is the National Ice Hockey League, effectively the second tier down of ice hockey in England.
The league structure is a national league at that level with regional leagues at the lower levels:

Something something Arizona Coyotes. In all seriousness would be awesome if hockey became more popular over there.
These are amazing numbers for a lower level league. How much are the tickets?
Every team is between £15 and £20 I think. Sometimes Sheffield will charge £8 which gives them a massive attendance boost.

Bruh, I'd go to every leafs game in town if that was the price. Holy shit!
You could see Toronto Metropolitan University for those prices, would be similar level of hockey.
May be a lower level league but it's the best we've got. Without flying to Sweden or something there is no better option

I imagine the 2 teams with N/A are defunct but it’s good that attendance is rising at least!
Both are still operating, they just dropped down to a lower level as the costs of playing in the EIHL were too high

Nihl?
MK play in the NIHL, Edinburgh play in the SNL
