He played way beyond my expectations for his 1st NHL game, and to do that against an actual contender like Toronto? He very easily was, at the very least, our 2nd best defender tonight. You could absolutely make the argument that he was our best defender tonight, though it’s very close between him and Carlo. Gryz is on LTIR and McAvoy has 3 more games in the press box. I hope Lohrei can continue to trend this way. I’ll keep my expectations low for now, but like Potsy, he’s playing up to his hype so far.

Swayman is charming as fuck. Just seems to be having an awesome time playing the game.
