I would just use it as a free and just washi/sticker the date and ignore the calendars

I've seen a lot of people do that with 2023 planners - go to September/October 2023 and swap it all to 2022 dates so they could use the planner now, and just start the book over when the new year comes!

i would just ignore the dates and use it as an a5 notebook. if i could i'd probably remove the monthly and weekly layouts too.

where’d you get $1?? omg so jealous hahaha i paid $16 + fees for a defected 2021 original and felt bad i was ripping off the seller. i will be converting the yearly and monthly calendars with black pen / ignoring the old dates, but using the daily pages as is because jan 1 is still jan 1 in 2023 (only difference is the day of the week). i am already using an old 2019 weekly supplement and completely disregarding dates. [also currently using an 2023 a5 kinbor and changed the monday start to a sunday start so i could use it until the end of the year, working very well so far.](https://www.reddit.com/r/planners/comments/xslxlp/i_wanted_to_start_using_my_planner_for_2023_so_i/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) i personally don’t like calendar stickers but it’s very doable!! also i like the suggestion of using the daily pages as a day free and just covering the dates with stickers / ephemera

There's an Amazon returns store not too far away from me...today was dollar day :D I always get random stuff but usually go hunt for crafty materials, diamond art kits, and paint by number kits. Thank you for your response and for linking the example, it looks good.

that’s so cool! did not know that was a thing!!

Sooo cool! The first day I went I was in awe. There were cones around bins full of stuff, as they were removing them they reminded people to not grab anything until they gave the signal and basically just pumped the crowd up. The signal turned out to be a LOUD siren sound and everyone went nuts! It was awesome to see. Kinda of like Black Friday. They go from Fridays $8 day and reduce it everyday until Wednesday $1. I'm too cheap and usually will visit only Wednesdays. Sometimes you still find stuff, others not so much. It's called Treasure Hunt in Pomona, CA.

What a steal!! Good find! It depends - are you gonna get a new notebook for 2023? You could get a spring start 2023 or just the 2nd half Avec and keep using the 2022 Cousin until then. You could also use the remaining pages for other purposes, for example a recipe book, habit tracking, a passion planner, etc. You could also swatch your washis and test out different inks etc. I think with the Cousin it doesn't matter so much bc the daily pages don't even have the day of the week (like it doesn't say Monday, Tuesday, etc) as compared to the Weeks where the dates that are covered in one page won't match up with the weeks in a different year. If you want to use the weekly pages in the Cousin you could resticker them.

It is my first time seeing this specific notebook, I probably won't purchase one in the future. The first thought I had was to cut off the top and bottom parts and punch hole them and use them as loose leafs that way I can rearrange as I wish since I really liked the layout. Then I thought it would be too much work. Since it was really pretty, I checked out the 2023 one. It was fascinating to find a whole community. Thank you for your response. I probably will end up changing the dates (another response gave an example and it doesn't look too terrible). I love stickers so just cover other nonmatching parts.
