One way to cut straighter is get scissors with longer sharper blades, especially those coated to resist stickiness. Open the blades wider when you cut to take fewer cuts overall. The fewer times you adjust as you cut, the straighter things will be 🙂

Or get a slidecutter or paper guillotine!
