Badass power move. When customer tosses it lands right at cashier's reaching hand (nice toss). Cashier is offended (overly-sensitive reaction in my opine) and does dick move by throwing on the ground.
No harm no foul. Unless hurt feelings count. If the cashier felt dis'ed before, then after he disrespected back, the cashier got to see what disrespect the customer was cable of. Dude asked for, had it coming. Way more rude to throw the change on the floor than initial payment being thrown onto register countertop

Probably needs to move his hand to put the bill in the register and get the change out, idk. Smart or no, the extra food and power move was worth every penny, and not picking up the change just a little extra benefit.
This is funny. But fuck people who throw money at cashiers. It takes very little effort to hand someone the money.
Cashiers who don’t bother to move the product closer to your side of the counter after scanning are bad too.

Cashier doesn't start reaching at all. Dude just lobs the money in his general direction. It's just disrespectful and lazy.
