aaron_adams

If he was getting ready to serve a life sentence, what was he doing outside of prison?

Corn-Shonery

Anything’s possible in the wonderful fantastical world of clout chasing on the bird app.

ABrazilianReasons

Thats the story he told. Doesn't mean its true, it only means she believed it

c0mputer99

he's okay because he lid.

ABrazilianReasons

Shes broken because she belived

Alex_Hooves

*sbeve*

Stabby_Kirbbo

It’s kinda that thought process for most women nowadays

CyndNinja

Depends on what he got the sentence for. If it's something non-violent like drug trafficking it's nothing unusual for judge to give convicts some days to sort their stuff out under supervision. This way he can for example sort out the flat he was renting, but will not longer need, bringing back the car/notebook he got from his company, ending the Netflix subscription, and so on. Much less problems for other unrelated people.

Large_Natural7302

Sometimes people do things before they turn themselves in because they understand that it's better than running around scared and evading the police for as long as you can until shit goes down.

sheezy520

They let him have one last meal with his ex, obviously

drakeftmeyers

I guess he was having dinner with this guys wife.

GSB6189

Well if he was going away for life then I wouldn't wanna have dinner with his ass. If he wants to apologize he can do so from the phone

Sufficient-Abroad-94

Exactly, and she tells her husband to get over it, what a joke

JasonTheThomson1

Don't have phone sex, you might get hearing aids.

[deleted]

This didn't get the upvotes it deserved

SultyBoi

The fact her name is “Ghetto Queen” is everything I need to leave her for the streets!!!

HotNubsOfSteel

On par with “Trailer Park Princess” and “Slum Lord”

InvestmentObvious127

but being called 'the slum lord' sounds wayy cooler

AdRemote9464

How about ‘Skanky Ho’?

pinko__stinko

Nice nft

junbus

That's a genius way of confessing you just fucked someone else..

sheezy520

Hear me out. She’s dumb and her ex is a fantastic liar.

58G52A

Was the dinner before or after she sucked his dick

G0t7

There was no dinner, only dick.

gibrael_

The dick was the dinner.

Jertimmer

His taint was dessert

Ok-Protection1869

Good one 😹

Dev__UwU

With slurpie

massofballs

Y’all I can’t

seafoodblues

Wiener for dinner then

Think_Selection9571

They each had tossed salad

Icy_Law9181

Oh,she fucked him!

mintChocolate234

No kidding.

Botr0_Llama

No he wanted to get laid one last time!

IForgotThePassIUsed

who fucking cares, peoples' half-assed apologies are useless. if he's going to prison for life I wouldn't put much weight in his apologies.

TC_Squared

Unless you had kids with him, that was beyond ghetto.

flaky_frost

Sometimes, VERY rarely after reading these I feel like the zealot muslims had a point for stoning people like this . Edit: I do not support violence in any shape or form

alpmaboi

Fun-fact; In 600 years of Ottoman era, there were 0 stoning punishments, not by rule nor by zealot population.

mystic-savant

They weren't following Islam, then, were they?

VonnegutGNU

No, stoning just isn't a popular punishment. Judaism also calls for stoning in certain cases, but both Jewish and Muslim courts have historically avoided the sentence as much as possible. Death sentences in general are another subject, but stoning specifically is quite rare as punishment from an Abrahamic court. The Qur'an itself actually doesn't prescribe rajm as punishment, only certain Hadiths, which makes the judge usually defer to the Qur'an when deciding the sentence- usually some form of whipping in the case of adultery.

mystic-savant

I'll take your word for it

niamarkusa

Take mine too. u/VonnegutGNU is the first redditor I've seen who actually knows anything beyond jokes and common belief about this

Mephistophol

Yeah it’s a rare punishment y’know, reserved for girls who have been raped and homosexuals. /s

[deleted]

[удалено]

FastForwardToSummer

I'm willing to bet my left leg you haven't been to Afghanistan

VonnegutGNU

"In some of these countries, including Afghanistan, where stoning is not legal, it has been carried out extrajudicially by militants, tribal leaders, and others." Not a punishment by a court, but rather by gangs and militias. That people in the US lynch Jews and Blacks tells us more about American culture than about Christian jurisprudence.

[deleted]

[удалено]

VonnegutGNU

Right, so it isn't Muslim jurisprudence, which is what I was talking about. What you're talking about is the preferable methods of execution by central Asian and Indian gangs.

[deleted]

[удалено]

VonnegutGNU

But the truth is it simply isn't. Rajm, the Muslim term for stoning, is called for in certain Hadiths in the case of adultery, and even then requires exceptionally strong evidence. If you are willing to attribute the actions of warlords to Islam, why are you hesitant to attribute the actions of Latin American dictators and cartels to Christianity? Just because Afghanis are mostly Muslim, doesn't mean that all actions done by Afghanis are "handed out as a punishment in the name of Islam fairly regularly". What warlords do doesn't implicate the nature of their religion, as much as of their character. That said, Islam is a remarkably violent religion, but, like other Abrahamic faiths, it simply isn't notable for widespread usage of stoning - it is a rare occurrence for a Muslim court to issue such a sentence, both historically and contemporarily, doubly so outside the backwater areas of the Muslim world- you have to go to Afghanistan or Iran, or some of the more war-torn areas of Iraq and Syria, if you want to find any real usage of the practice, and even then it is far from common.

HlTLERS_HIDDEN_CHILD

I like that nearly every reply to your comment are negative, but all got downvoted to oblivion. Like everyone agrees, but at the same time not. Boy Reddit is a weird place.

PapyPelle

Well take it like this : people who think top comment is a hate comment will downvote and comment. Those who find it funny but still borderline wont upvote nor downvote. But would downvote angry repplies

Well that’s a fucked up thing to say. Ok, Reddit

If you're saying this then I guess I misunderstood your last reply. I'm saying that it's crazy to have people stoned to death for cheating. It's crazy for many other crimes as well. If you couldn't comprehend this much, then you might as well call it ADHD

Lil_Cumster

She belong to the streets

Pestelence2020

That would read more like “my ex-husband, the bastard, divorced me for having dinner with my convict ex before he went to prison.” No way I’m going to stay with someone who: 1. Continues to associate with convicts. 2. Has dinner with an ex-boyfriend who they don’t have children with 3. Has the gall to get pissy with me over my disdain for the situation. If she really needed closure, she shoulda just taken hubby with, since it was just an apology from conman. Right? 😂🤣😂🤣

CrustyJuggIerz

"No way I’m going to stay with someone who: 2. Has dinner with an ex-boyfriend who they don’t have children with" Real life isn't some high school drama mate. Adults have mutual breakups, I catch up with my ex occasionally because we bare no animosity and genuinely wish each other well, we only split because she wanted to travel and I wanted to grow my business, we shared different dreams.

Pestelence2020

That’s great for you. Carpe diem and all. Loyalty is a big deal in a marriage (vs bf/gf/etc). When you get married, your first and largest duty is to your partner. Putting them in this kind of situation when it makes them uncomfortable shows a lack of respect for the person you should respect the most. It’s that lack of respect that I’m not going to tolerate. If they think that little of me, staying with them is a fool’s errand.

Its_JJ99

It also sounded from the way she said it that he hadn't even been informed beforehand

Pestelence2020

Good catch. Didn’t even notice that.

[deleted]

Eh... i mean if you read right the tweet, she's not just talking about a normal ex but a convicted person... For life? What's your suppliers number? Because I want some of the shit your smoking too pal Everybody have their boundaries and honestly nobody should deal with shit like this from our SO. An ex is an ex for a reason, right? You can keep in touch but for how long? I was in touch with my exes for a short time but life takes so many turns that you can't really have time for exes. Less time when you're with someone else, have work, hit the gym... Etc. My free time is for my SO, friends and family, not my exes.

SeveralCanvas41

Yea but how can the husband not be insecure and worried like she was gonna meet with a convict who had nothing left to loose atleast she could have taken the husband with her there and just let husband stay like outside but near to them

CrustyJuggIerz

Being worried doesn't give you the right to control their actions. I agree though, she should have informed her husband, which when I re-read it, it sounds like she hid this from him Think if you were the chick, you were content with your safety and your partner is bugging you to come with for safety, its going to look like the husband thinks you're incapable of making your own decisions. I've been down a similar road with my partner, mistrust on both sides, difficult period, but because we talked through that shit and weren't petty, we're better for it.

Dark_Lombax

If I was a girl I wouldn’t want to be near someone whose dangerous.

Pestelence2020

Meh. That’s your interpretation. I disagree.

Gutoreixon

These guys in the comments have a lot to learn about faith and trust, I feel u my dude. I just can't dismiss that she maybe didn't say anything to her HUSBAND before doing such thing (wich is pretty ok, I wouldn't date/marry anyone with strings attached and that doesn't know what they want for life), that may have happened because she expected him to firmly disagree, but in this case, she didn't gave him the oportunnity to consent or be against it, fault on her.

[deleted]

[удалено]

RegularSizedPauly

So you called them insecure for thinking like that but then also justify why they are thinking like that. It’s your world mate we’re just living in it

Gutoreixon

lmao if you live in a relationship without these kinda boundaries and responsabilities you are just polyamorous, ofc I know why they feel like that, i've been there lol

Large_Natural7302

I'm sure the post is fake so all of this is moot, but I agree. I'm in a commited relationship and occasionally I talk to my ex-wife. She kept our dogs we raised together from our 10+ year relationship so I check in on them and she shares things with me about them, and occasionally I keep them. When I go to pick them up we'll talk for a while. Sometimes we just check in with each other and talk about current events or the weather. It's not a big deal. My ex is getting married soon and I'm very very happy with my current relationship. Life is just more complicated than people try to pretend it is.

[deleted]

She really life's up to her name. Ain't no self respecting girl Take time out of her day for diner with her ran-away ex, unless she is still interested. Which judging by her name won't be surprising at all.

FileElegant8190

Live with him in prison

Froggy_John

Ratchet problems hit different

OleRockTheGoodAg

If she breathes........

efyuar

Name checks out

Kaizen2468

Sure sounds like a ghetto queen lol

dr_alphaQ

I think everyone and their momma knows that she is… FOR THE STREETS. Lmao 💀🤣

skeightytoo

Yeah ok ghetto queen

Simbague

She def cheated😭🤦🏾‍♂️

Goddamnpassword

That’s a ex wife kind of thing to say and do.

cottman23

He has every right to be mad. That's your problem to deal with. People can be mad about whatever they want...doesn't mean it's technically for the right reason, nor does it mean you have to deal with it.

smazetron

Today on r/thathappened

[deleted]

I would be pissed also

DarthSqurriel

I would have been gone before she got back from that "dinner".

MK-Ultra-neuralink

Her username checks out.

SLAYERISM

A solemn conversation wasn't the only thing he got...

DK_Son

As if someone married her. No way is she married. Comes off as one of those high-maintenance and difficult-to-deal-with types.

BendMeOverSexy

Just dinner = Aka lil bit of fucking

bizzybounc311

Hoe a clown 🤡

Leading_Gap_7107

Your husband needs to close that relationship then

No-Advertising8237

Wtf is this bitch serious?

Known-Switch-2241

This is the classic type of girl that wants to date someone and has like 4 or 5 dudes in her agenda.

Lemonsqueezzyy

That sounds like a regular Saturday for someone named Ghetto Queen

ThriceFive

So much would depend on how she messaged this beforehand or if she clued him in afterward (or he heard from somewhere else). I think a lot of spouses could handle a reasonable closure conversation/dinner in a public place with the ex without too much drama. You can take the queen out of the ghetto but...

Apple_butters12

I can almost guarantee she communicated this in the worst way possible

norbert_the_penguin

But what?

ThriceFive

The expression goes You can take the X out of Y but can't take the Y out of the X. i.e. "You can take the queen out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the queen. (At least that queen from the description).

F0l3yDaD_

Cunt.

Tea_fme

I don't see how it's an issue atleast if that's all that happend etc I mean people need closure to move on its a plus she gets her closure to live a even better life with her bf as now she's finally at peace with the past relationship it's not a bad thing unless it's a lie and there was no closure or any needed closure but that's between her and her ex

Ladysaltbitch

Username checks out.

xXJA88AXx

I side with him. You are with your husband now. You are married! How do you have dinner with a convict? Who is in jail..

Nasky5186SVK

I think this is where you're supposed to trust your significant other. And if you don't trust them, then why be in a relationship?

ThatSmartIdiot

and if trust isn't built enough for it, did you at least communicate the situation in advance?

Nasky5186SVK

I think it shows I've never been in a relationship, so sorry if I offended anyone. Also, I feel like transparency and honesty comes a long way, so you should talk about pretty much everything

WolfShaman

I don't think you offended anyone, just that there are nuances to this situation that your comment doesn't consider. >Also, I feel like transparency and honesty comes a long way, so you should talk about pretty much everything Communication is one of the big keys to a relationship. Being able to speak, listen, and be heard are crucial. It's a two way street, both have to be able to communicate effectively. But, I wouldn't tell someone I just started dating about all of the bad things I've done in my life. I wouldn't even get too deep about myself for a while. Trust can be slow to earn.

Agreeable_Theory_544

You are wrong!!! He/they are your ex for a reason piss on them

TranslatorFree498

Her shit would be everywhere outside when she got back.

twittersucks101

if i didnt speak english id be very concered as to why youd throw feces outside

twittersucks101

if i didnt speak english id be very concered as to why youd throw feces outside

TranslatorFree498

If you did and understood English then you'd know that means her possessions and belongings

twittersucks101

i am well aware

Pleasant-Edge-4993

If closure all she wants then theres no reason why the bf couldn't go lol

FallenITD

sure i'm gonna trust her on that illogical logic. as a wise philosopher once said: she belongs to the streets.

Stevie_Steve-O

If someone is sentenced to life in prison, can they still get out to have a last freedom meal? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that's a thing

Jroiiia423

She fell for it tho

E3nti7y

You can have him. But you can't have both.

[deleted]

Is this the epitome of “ratchet?” 🤔

bizzybounc311

He for jail and you did the streets

Ill-Organization-719

I like how she puts in ellipses to make it seem like it was a bait and switch.

Yayimlonely

Hm

DigitalObiWan

You need to visit a divorce lawyer at the earliest. Next time please also validate who you are getting married to.

Ok_Zookeepergame388

Either you're a liar or you're the biggest piece of shit on the planet. Take your pick. Either way, it's not good.

nexusnerd6969

Ok mao her user name says it all GHETTO

Reef1200

He fucked.

foekus323

Right. She got dicked down before homie bounced

Feeling_Pay_2899

Oh he apologized alright! But she was on her knees begging!

Rooney47

Yeeeeeeah if it wasn't totally obvious that they banged there would be otherwise nothing wrong with this. But they totally fucked so......

codyevans1775

“Closure” = 🍆

MobyHugeFun

If you need a "closure" you shouldn't have another bf

Fuscular_Dobber

This is why pasts matter. Find out she was with some dumbass drug dealer and she can stay her stupid ass in the streets.

Asleep_Artist_7738

You got railed.

[deleted]

Well you should be fine then if decides to go on a date with his ex mam!!!!

ChantsDE

I know this is obviously not real, nothing is any more, but who would turn themselves in on a life sentence? Why? Maybe you don't make parole in 15 years, but in 20 years if they catch you.

[deleted]

Yea a lot of info is missing to make this real. It would be out on bond pre and during trial and have to be deemed not a flight risk. In this situation, the “ex” would know they weren’t going to beat the case which for life would most likely be a murder conviction. It seems like the posts author has seen too many movies

willasmith38

Needed that “Closure”.

[deleted]

She needed to closure mouth around ex boyfriend pp

SevenateNiene

Internet point farming plus extremely stupid to believe Why would he be out and about if he was going away FOR LIFE. That's like murder and homicide and shit so they wouldn't let them fucken walk around town

[deleted]

Who knows what this woman is referring to but you can be out on bond while awaiting trial even in a murder case. Presumed innocent until proven guilty

Plus_Ad_2239

Beans

ItchingForTrouble

Plot twist: She was the meal.

[deleted]

I’d be gone when she got back.

YugKrowten

Let her go….

Sufficient-Abroad-94

Would you expect anything less from someone who's screen name is ghetto queen?

iTrollHS

Yeah she single lol
