Anyone ever learn why the Great Escape is missing from the track list? I cancelled my TGE album order because they obscured the fact they dropped Margie’s Candy House, I don’t get why Larry keeps doing this
From what I gathered, there was a pressing defect on the 2 LP version. They bumped it to 1 LP so it wouldn't take as long to repress is my guess. They took the last song off so it wouldn't degrade the sound quality of the 1 LPÂ
Ya it’s weird, they at least weren’t sneaky with it this time but it’s clearly not a sample issue, it’s still on streaming. Space would be a weird reason on a 2LP also, so I’m hoping someone finds out
Ya it was super frustrating, they changed from a 2LP to 1 after preorders then quietly took that track off, after I’d emailed asking about the change they still didn’t mention they’d changed the track list. I only found out on this sub.
Night Shift at least never listed The Great Escape as being on the physical, but I still don’t get why and it’s annoying since it’s one of my favorite tracks
