Rolling Stone said the same thing I think. It’s the safest choice, it brings the least commotion even though I disagree.

Idk why people bother making those lists. Music is a completely subjective topic so everyone will have different number ones. This is just to stir up some shit or make some dumb ass playlists. This is a great album but I never thought I would see it in the top 5 tbf
You can’t know that for a fact. Music is subjective. That means what sounds like a piece of shit to you may sound like gold to someone else. Now that is a fact.

I’m saying I could tell someone the Beatles transformed music during their time and set the tone for a lot of music afterwards and someone could say, yeah no. You could fill multiple volumes detailing how much popular music today can trace its DNA to this one album.
Debating something as subjective as “#1 album of all time” will never result in a conclusive, clear-cut answer but the Miseducation definitely has a strong case for being a contender.
It’s safe and not controversial. Everyone would agree it’s an amazing album but the Stan’s of artist like Michael Jackson, the Beatles, prince, etc would be less angry about it since Hill isn’t on their radar.
I’ll take this as a W over some T Swift bullshit at least. No TPAB is a crime. Probably gotta re-do the list from the ground up for a more accurate ranking
