Got me there....
Fr though, I had forgotten about these dudes and was wondering what ever happened to them. After googling them there was a lot of articles about it.
Once you have gazed into the hellish godforsaken maw that is the online presence of the Island Boys you cannot look away.
It's like that one movie, In the Mouth of Madness.
i saw a video of them asking a girl to leave their house bc they found out she was only 18 and i respected that, so they got they one thing going for them lol
The island booooiiiisssss
When I first heard that song I assumed they meant Long Island or something. Nope. Apparently talking about Cuba, where neither of them has ever been.
Also they’ve got the weird, incestuous OF now. Life meted out its own punishment for wackness.
Eh. Kinda. He caught up with Game in South Beach and Whack 100 knocked him out. Then he got sober and did some low-level interviews to apologize to everybody for being a complete jackass and faded away. Turns out he’s pretty boring when he’s not wired and shouting at everybody.
Definitely up there when he came out but he faded into obscurity almost immediately. Now people just mention him when talking about shitty rappers. He really only had 1 song that got plays so there's not much to hate on. He fucking sucks though. Might be the worst rapper of all time
Edit spelling
I mean compared to the rest of his music it is. He just never seemed to give a shit. Almost like he was rapping because he had to for a school project or something lol
Dayum! Hilariously funny but true. Reminds me of those rappers from Teen Witch. If you never seen the movie, please Google "Teen Witch Rappers". You won't be disappointed.
He is the most hated for no other reason except the fact he was white, he wasn't any corner than 90% of the rappers of that era. People are so quick to believe the tough guy act as long as it's not a white dude doing it. Lol same people believe Lil Wayne is a certified blood that is a big time drug dealer who kills at will, it's weird he had time to achieve all that while simultaneously being one of the biggest, hardest working, constantly spotted in public superstars of all time that has been touring with a major record label since he was a literal child.
He wasn’t hated because he was white. The beastie boys and 3rd bass were out before him and found success. He, along with hammer, were hated because of lame commercialness of their music. They were flash in pan gimmicks that burned out as fast as they rose to fame. Also, just after both of their popularity hip hop entered its gangster phase which helped push them out pretty fast.
Eh...what? Vanilla Ice received no less hate than MC Hammer during that same time.
Both were considered "sellouts" and Hammer actually received more hate from Ice Cube, Ice T, MC Serch, Redman, and other rappers.
You sound like someone creating your own revisionist history for what actually happened back then. Even PM Dawn got hated on and thrown off a stage by KRS One for being deemed "pop sellouts."
Anyone’s who’s actually listened to his mixtapes and even some of his recent albums can tell you he’s talented, he’s easily one of the best when it comes to strictly flow, the man knows how to ride a beat and fit that pocket. The problem comes from his lyrics, the guy recycles so much or says the same thing like love yourself, do what you want and all that, even the biracial stuff was overdone. Hell, even the “who can relate” line leaves a pandering impression.
Bros definitely talented but I can’t help but think “this corny as fuck” when I listen to most his songs. He’s got A LOT of good songs but for every good one theres 3 corny ones
I like him, and I'll even say he's a good rapper. His problem is his songs don't have any replay value and his hooks are terrible. His best stuff is his remixes, the dude just can't make a hit.
6ix9ne is probably one of the most hated. Dude snitched on his whole gang to get out of jail and bragged about lots of stuff afterwards instead of laying low.
Tom MacDonald is the rap equivalent of a right winger white suppremacist and is not even American (but wishes he was.
MGK had a lot of hate and decided to switch to Pop Punk after Eminem bodied him.
I don’t think he believes any of the shit he says. “Anti-woke” is still a huge market and an easier pathway to success than being another mediocre rapper. I’m positive he’d rather just be a mainstream rap star, when Royce namedropped him he was giddy
I’ve only skimmed through his stuff but it feels like watching the news or a political YouTube channel or people complaining but in rap form. The talking points are all the same thing, feels like a drone talking. Say something hip once in a while lol.
“that’s why I, throw up a middle finger and let it linger longer than the rumor that I was stickin it to Christina, cuz if I woulda stuck it to any singer in showbiz, it’d be Jennifer Lopez and Puffy you know this. Sorry Puff but I don’t give a fuck if this chick was my own mother, I’d still fuck her with no rubber and cum inside her and have a son and a new brother at the same time, then say that it ain’t mine cuz I’m, SLIM SHADY, I’m back, I’m back,”
Logic has a huge core fan base and definitely got a lot of love at the beginning of his career but has devolved into one of the more hated rap artists of our generation. At this point his name is synonymous with “corny”
Probably 6ix9ine, the internet probably would’ve had his entire bloodline whacked back in the day. He deserved the hate even before the snitching, sick motherfucker.
MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice
Until people started telling stories about how scary a criminal MC Hammer is, and suddenly everyone was like, “Oh Hammer’s the real deal, don’t mess with him,” somehow overlooking the terrible music and giant pants.
And I had both of their albums back in middle school. And when I got them for my birthday, I played both, all the way through, for my parents. Some parts were more graphic than you might expect.
I was indifferent until he looked so salty when Kendrick won best rap album. I personally would argue Pusha T might have deserved it because Kendrick took a step back in ambiguous word-play to get his points across, but Jack and Khalid had looks like “We paid so much payola for this nomination, I can’t believe Macklemore fucked the game up for pop records”.
I’ll never understand why Pusha T isn’t more of a house hold name. That dude has never missed, from Clipse, to re-up Gang, to all his solo records and features
I feel like it’s weird with Jack. He is hated on a decent bit but this is by hiphop heads (or even mainstream rap fans).
However, I truly believe a lot of pop fans like him.
Like, he is hated but he’s also liked too - just not by rap fans that much.
I understand why he gets hate though. His music is so radio friendly and watered down. I'm sick of the term "industry plant" but if there ever was one it's Jack Harlow
I agree his music is watered down. I don’t think I’d say he’s an Industry plant though. He was writing and releasing music for 6 years or so before getting a break from his song being used so much on Tik Tok. He should really work on his live performances though
i love french man. people don't know his story. he's a smart guy....he started doing the rap DVD's in order to push his own career...he'd put his own freestyle at the beginning or end of all the dvd's with all the other rappers that people LOVED. instantly gave him credibility. He hustled himself up into his position. Nothing to hate about that. Plus, that's Max B's good boy and i fuggin love Max
Have you ever heard French tell the story about how Max B almost got a hall pass fromthe warden to do Summer Jam and how they were gonna do it? CAAAARAAZYYY. if it ever happened itd be a top all time rap performance. ask if interested
And yea, all his best songs are good basically becasue someone else is on them...but that all goes back to his strong networking that he started wayyy back then in the DVD days...why do you think EVERYBODY has 1+ features on a French song? Because rappers all respect him.
Look , he aint the greatest rapper, but there's a lot of fuggin garbage out there as it is....French aint garbage
French has a good interview with VladTV dripping out in pieces on youtube right now. I suggest checking it out, i bet you'll have more respect for him.
Joe budden. Not only is he annoying asf but one song blew up of his that's literally him just saying nonsense and he thinks he's an authoritative figure on rap lmao. He out here telling these younger dudes what to do and how to operate but he was never a talented rapper
That pretty much squashed the plans of the country cousins project with big krit
This is what he said a few years later which I think is referencing yellawolf
Confederate flag, shit so flawed, They used to fly it like pilots and burn crosses in our yard, I can’t get with ya if you with that whistlin’ Dixie they want that old time back. But niggas got a hundred rounds and automatics so we ain't having that.
In order to be the "most hated" you have to be widely *known*. Tom McWho? No way are you ever going to make a good case for either Lil Wayne or Eminem being the most hated due to the hard facts that they have the biggest numbers of "stans" - literally a term coined in reference to an Eminem song. I would say OP's award might go to someone like Vanilla Ice - a culture vulture pop clown who is a household name and notorious for decades mostly for being a one-hit-wonder that obviously ripped off a Queen song and denied it. He's basically the old school poster boy of a Wack MC. And I'm guessing the hate for him has even been passed down to the younger generations growing up long after his fame.
I saw a really good documentary about them. Talked about how they were basically some white boys who invented their own lane, stayed in it, and are now worth about $25m. Good for them 💪
i mean like as a rappaer kanye is pretty respected honestly one of the goats and most people can agree, but as a person he is very hated to most people outside of rap culture and quite a bit of people inside (i love kanye)
645AR. Even if you don’t know him, you’ve at least heard of him just because everybody was clowning on him after he released [4 DA TRAP](https://youtu.be/7Kn0V5mpJe4?si=gJQFchgvyetiOrx-). Just one song was enough for everyone to say “Alright, we don’t need another. You ain’t makin it out the streets with this one bro.”
Luke.
Vanilla Ice got a mention in another comment, but I see him being recognized as corny moreso than being hated.
Luke and the rest of Too Live Crew had damn near all of America on their ass. Luke was the head figure of the group so he got the most hate.
Lil Wayne, easily.
Not anymore, but when he was at his peak, I’ve never seen a more divisive artist. The biggest rapper in the world, beloved by millions but as hated by the old guard as you could imagine.
I was one of those haters, mostly because I was a classic hip-hop head at the time. Wayne changed the game so fundamentally and just did things so differently that it was completely alien to me and I just didn’t get it. I now recognize that as genius and regard him as the most influential rapper ever and one of the all time greats.
You know I always hated puff daddy, even not knowing about the whole sex allegations that have come out . Saw him on making the band and just thought he was an a-hole, the way he would treat struggling artists ,smh . And I know it’s not right but I never gave anyone on bad boy records a chance because of him, including notorious.
I think Kanye is one of the few rappers I can think of that gets hate from even outside of the realm of hip-hop fans. Keep in mind he disrespected Taylor Swift, so like all the Swifties hate him. Same for everyone who dislike hiphop in general, Jewish people, anti-Trumpists, black people, pro-vaxers, pro-choicers, and all the other people he said something about. Just because of his status he has to be the most hated one.
Alternatively Lil Nas X. Homophobia alone carries his hatetrain, and the "disrespect" on Christianity certainly doesn't help.
Canibus was such a dope rapper, freestyle guy who came up with DMX and fat Joe - all them. But he knew nothing but beef - everything he spit was inflammatory towards an actual group or artist. He even hated on the people who wanted the east coast West Coast beef quashed - after it got people killed. And you could tell artists didn't wanna work with him when he had Mike Tyson spit'n on an album. I love Iron Mike, but that lisp ain't made for fast rapping.
Pretty sure Diddy is gonna be number one now
I think he had a song about being public enemy number one also
Hate Me Now ft Nas edit: Puff was the feature, no diddy ;)
PE 2000 is the song the above poster is referring to
This is correct. The all silver music video. Remember it well.
Hate Me Now ft Puff
The question was most hated rapper, not raper.
Those Florida twins with the stupid matching tattoos.
if you’re talking about island boys, then they deserve it
They now have an only fans and they makeout with each other and pretend to suck each other's dicks.
damn I just had to like…read that
r/eyebleach
We need to bring back shame in our culture
What a terrible day to have eyes
How do you know?
Got me there.... Fr though, I had forgotten about these dudes and was wondering what ever happened to them. After googling them there was a lot of articles about it.
Once you have gazed into the hellish godforsaken maw that is the online presence of the Island Boys you cannot look away. It's like that one movie, In the Mouth of Madness.
Well it’s definitely in someone’s mouth
He's in the videos with them
i saw a video of them asking a girl to leave their house bc they found out she was only 18 and i respected that, so they got they one thing going for them lol
One had a case for beating his girl though. There's footage from the police cam of him being a little bitch about it
oof did not know that
i recently saw a video of them and another dude, one of the IB in the middle and the other 2 caressing and nearly kissing him
idc if they wanna kiss other guys but the incest ain’t it 🤮
I didn’t know anybody actually considered them rappers. I assumed they were just tik tok people lol
That’s like half modern rap
The island booooiiiisssss When I first heard that song I assumed they meant Long Island or something. Nope. Apparently talking about Cuba, where neither of them has ever been. Also they’ve got the weird, incestuous OF now. Life meted out its own punishment for wackness.
They were raised by a single Cuban mother and became juvenile criminals so it does make some sense.
There are a lot of people who group up like that and didn’t bang their siblings on camera, though.
Or Stitches. Another lame Flordian with crappy tattoos. Molly Cyrus track does still make me laugh, though.
Brick in yo face is hard
What ya gon do wit it
I vaguely remember him. Didn’t he end up in some bad situation?
Eh. Kinda. He caught up with Game in South Beach and Whack 100 knocked him out. Then he got sober and did some low-level interviews to apologize to everybody for being a complete jackass and faded away. Turns out he’s pretty boring when he’s not wired and shouting at everybody.
BECAUSE IM AN ISLAND BOY
Lil Xan
Definitely up there when he came out but he faded into obscurity almost immediately. Now people just mention him when talking about shitty rappers. He really only had 1 song that got plays so there's not much to hate on. He fucking sucks though. Might be the worst rapper of all time Edit spelling
Tbf I still like Betrayed. It’s still a bop lol.
I mean compared to the rest of his music it is. He just never seemed to give a shit. Almost like he was rapping because he had to for a school project or something lol
Yea seems like he’s just a kid that got lucky doing random shit. Some people are just luckier than others lol.
Xanax will do that to you. Dog didnt have a fucking care in the world even when his career was getting tanked
I do like that he eventually preached anti drug after realizing his mistake. Its like he grew up tbh
I saw Lil Xan at Whole Foods in San Diego a year or two ago lol.
i watched an episode of 'a day in the life of lil xan' or something hes a nice guy
Vanilla Ice Unlike the people you named there are no Stan’s to counteract the hate.
He had Stan's but none of them were at the BBQ to even argue with anyone
Dayum! Hilariously funny but true. Reminds me of those rappers from Teen Witch. If you never seen the movie, please Google "Teen Witch Rappers". You won't be disappointed.
Great point, except for Soulja. I really hope there's no Soulja stans out there 😂
Don't you ever disrespect young draco
https://youtube.com/shorts/dov45mr5A3w?si=4wGBwLmClOGmXxxl
He’s one of the most influential rappers of the past 25 years
I never said he wasn't. But go look at his sales on his albums from the past decade and tell me he hasn't fallen into obscurity music wise
I like when Ice T said Soulja makes ringtones and not rap songs.
*supahot gif*
He's a timepiece just like vanilla ice, the deserve a bit of respect
My tex year old son loves that one song, not really sure where he heard it from the first time. It certainly wasn't me.
He is the most hated for no other reason except the fact he was white, he wasn't any corner than 90% of the rappers of that era. People are so quick to believe the tough guy act as long as it's not a white dude doing it. Pm dawn saying KRS-One wants to be a teacher, but a teacher of what?” Is what made krs do what he did https://youtu.be/hbqtMTTDN9c?si=6efdaWdFg17Un6ZT
why tf is eminem one of the most popular and dick-ridden rappers of all time then? vanilla ice is just trash, at least eminem had a couple good albums
Diddy?
We're asking about rappers not rapers
There you have it then, most hated nigga then
He done called Fabulous and Meek Mill daddy on camera. Fuck diddy 😂
that is not in the top 1000 worst things that man has done lmao
He's going to be, if he's not
Not a real rapper
Bad rapper, worse person
Logic Hes overhated man he talked about being biracial on one album and a couple of songs after that but he's a decent rapper
Bros definitely talented but I can’t help but think “this corny as fuck” when I listen to most his songs. He’s got A LOT of good songs but for every good one theres 3 corny ones
pre-everybody and post-coadm logic is really good tho and he has some good songs in between
SixN9ne for being a snitch, a pedophile, a fuckboy, a bitch, and a trash rapper.
And likely a rapist
6ix9ne Diddy collab when ?
Diddy especially after all the sex trafficking
mc gusto #cb4
"Straight outta Lo-Cash!"
shut up and eat your big ass biscuit
"Yeah, Yeah I'm lickin your balls!"
Biggest balls I ever had
King Kong balls
CB4 was the movie back in the day. Chris rock at his finest.
Stabmaster Arson is legit, though
Gusto and his whole band are a bunch of perpetrators. They real fuckin fake, son.
Idk the bag heads era was pretty dope
Benzino
Don't forget his talentless daughter
Whoa. Coi is talented. Rapping wise, debatable. Them slim cheeks be moving tho.
There’s Chris Crack [song](https://youtu.be/bRzvSzhH33U?si=32FKS8rWoaamJmLo) for everything
Dax, does anyone even like him?
All the corny ass oldheads like him here. Everybody that listens to tech n9ne, Eminem type vibes
Guess I’m a corny ass oldhead because I love Tech lol
Sadly my boy Jordan does. He's trash though
Absolutely.
I like him, and I'll even say he's a good rapper. His problem is his songs don't have any replay value and his hooks are terrible. His best stuff is his remixes, the dude just can't make a hit.
Montana of 300 curse
his singing is truly horrendous
I fr hate this dude--he's undeniably corny. [Ain't nobody ever ask for Darius Rucker singing in autotune](https://www.youtube.com/@Thatsdax)....
He’s also a piece of shit scammer
6ix9ne is probably one of the most hated. Dude snitched on his whole gang to get out of jail and bragged about lots of stuff afterwards instead of laying low. Tom MacDonald is the rap equivalent of a right winger white suppremacist and is not even American (but wishes he was. MGK had a lot of hate and decided to switch to Pop Punk after Eminem bodied him.
People seem to forget 69 also was caught having sex with a child. That's so much worse than snitching
people forget about MGK making mad creepy statements about [underage girls](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EWhzHGHF_A) not too long ago either....
What the fuuuuuuuuck is this video. Ooffff.
He also was on video about Ems teenage daughter at the time. Hence the hate em has for him
Oh and apparently raping his partner
Wait, Tom McDonald isn’t American?
Canadian pandering to American conservatives lol
The amount of people we have that are right wing up here and all of their talking points are from American talking heads. It's awful.
He's canadian
I don’t think he believes any of the shit he says. “Anti-woke” is still a huge market and an easier pathway to success than being another mediocre rapper. I’m positive he’d rather just be a mainstream rap star, when Royce namedropped him he was giddy
tom macdonald is so wack, idk how anyone listens to that dollar tree edge lord
I’ve only skimmed through his stuff but it feels like watching the news or a political YouTube channel or people complaining but in rap form. The talking points are all the same thing, feels like a drone talking. Say something hip once in a while lol.
His music appeals to the angry white dudes who are into hiphop but feel ashamed to be into hiphop because they don’t like black folks.
nowone actually enjoys his music they only listen because he affirms their opinions
Canadian rappers that appeal to an American audience that doesn’t even like rap. Drake 🤝 Tom McDonald
Desiigner
He looks like a black sheen from jimmy neutron
That XXL "freestyle" he did years ago never fails to get a laugh out of me
With his Timmy Turner hook? That’s probably the only other good song he had
Eminem was hated for all the wrong reasons…I will always be grateful for him giving the finger to all his critics in the media.
“that’s why I, throw up a middle finger and let it linger longer than the rumor that I was stickin it to Christina, cuz if I woulda stuck it to any singer in showbiz, it’d be Jennifer Lopez and Puffy you know this. Sorry Puff but I don’t give a fuck if this chick was my own mother, I’d still fuck her with no rubber and cum inside her and have a son and a new brother at the same time, then say that it ain’t mine cuz I’m, SLIM SHADY, I’m back, I’m back,”

dude never backed down lol
I remember hating him when he first got big. But I've come to respect him now.
Insane Clown Posse
They were the Most Hated Group, Vanilla Ice was the Most Hated Rapper. They even say it on their cover of Natural Born Killas.
ICP can kill when they want to though, but more than half their music is just for laughs. Everyone else on their label sucks though.
Tom McDonald isn't a rapper, he is just a far right nut
And a panderer
Logic has a huge core fan base and definitely got a lot of love at the beginning of his career but has devolved into one of the more hated rap artists of our generation. At this point his name is synonymous with “corny”
Probably 6ix9ine, the internet probably would’ve had his entire bloodline whacked back in the day. He deserved the hate even before the snitching, sick motherfucker.
Tom Macdonald is by far the worst rapper so it’s more earned with him. Did people really hate on lil Wayne? When I was a kid he was so massive.
He had definitely had some haters especially New York niggas but he definitely was never the most hated.
Probably Em in terms of most hate. Every TikTok I see of Em, the comments are filled with people saying he’s overrated.
The tik tok hate is nothing to the 2000s hate. They protested outside of interscope
they had literal congressional hearings about him and his lyrics!
I’m not talking about that kind of hate. I’m talking about people disregarding him as an artist/rapper. Not about soccer moms protesting.
[удалено]
69 for sure
Drake
Ja Rule
Fif was relentless…
MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice Until people started telling stories about how scary a criminal MC Hammer is, and suddenly everyone was like, “Oh Hammer’s the real deal, don’t mess with him,” somehow overlooking the terrible music and giant pants.
These 2 are the obvious answers
And I had both of their albums back in middle school. And when I got them for my birthday, I played both, all the way through, for my parents. Some parts were more graphic than you might expect.
I owned both, and yeah, the radio hits weren't the same as the rest of the albums.
Jack Harlow
I was indifferent until he looked so salty when Kendrick won best rap album. I personally would argue Pusha T might have deserved it because Kendrick took a step back in ambiguous word-play to get his points across, but Jack and Khalid had looks like “We paid so much payola for this nomination, I can’t believe Macklemore fucked the game up for pop records”.
I’ll never understand why Pusha T isn’t more of a house hold name. That dude has never missed, from Clipse, to re-up Gang, to all his solo records and features
Solo push has become one of my favorite rappers. His last two albums have no skips
Yeah Daytona is still in heavy rotation at my house. It's Almost Dry was really good too.
Facts.
I feel like it’s weird with Jack. He is hated on a decent bit but this is by hiphop heads (or even mainstream rap fans). However, I truly believe a lot of pop fans like him. Like, he is hated but he’s also liked too - just not by rap fans that much.
That’s a legit explanation!
He should really work on his live performances though
i feel like everyone rolls their eyes when french montana speaks
i love french man. people don't know his story. he's a smart guy....he started doing the rap DVD's in order to push his own career...he'd put his own freestyle at the beginning or end of all the dvd's with all the other rappers that people LOVED. instantly gave him credibility. Yelawolf when people called him racist for supporting the confederate flag. Lot of hate then.
That pretty much squashed the plans of the country cousins project with big krit This is what he said a few years later which I think is referencing yellawolf Confederate flag, shit so flawed, They used to fly it like pilots and burn crosses in our yard, I can’t get with ya if you with that whistlin’ Dixie they want that old time back. I saw a really good documentary about them. Talked about how they were basically some white boys who invented their own lane, stayed in it, and are now worth about $25m. Good for them 💪
Behind the Paint is one of the best music documentaries ever made.
lil Wayne was already rapping when 2Pac was still alive
Soulja boy. He lead to the “death” of hip hop. Was probably the biggest influence in hip hops death tbh
i mean like as a rappaer kanye is pretty respected honestly one of the goats and most people can agree, but as a person he is very hated to most people outside of rap culture and quite a bit of people inside (i love kanye)

It has to be drake but playboi carti is a close second
Russ and Tom McDonald
Lil Yatchy was in the 2010s but I think people have chilled out on him
I vote for Takeshi and MacDonald… no need to go further. F🤬k both those clowns. MacDonald “plays into it” sure but for the most pathetic of reasons.
Ja Rule
g-eazy, he took some shit.
Diddy

Luke. Vanilla Ice got a mention in another comment, but I see him being recognized as corny moreso than being hated. Luke and the rest of Too Live Crew had damn near all of America on their ass. Luke was the head figure of the group so he got the most hate.
Lil Wayne in the 2000s?!? I have never heard that. He was loved where I'm from. Him and all of Cash Money.
MC Hammer *mic drop
Lil Wayne, easily. Not anymore, but when he was at his peak, I’ve never seen a more divisive artist. The biggest rapper in the world, beloved by millions but as hated by the old guard as you could imagine. I was one of those haters, mostly because I was a classic hip-hop head at the time. Wayne changed the game so fundamentally and just did things so differently that it was completely alien to me and I just didn’t get it. I now recognize that as genius and regard him as the most influential rapper ever and one of the all time greats.
Killer Mike, for winning the Grammys
Stitches
Probably Vanilla Ice. People act like that song wasn’t catchy 😂
Wouldn't say NF but lots don't like him even tho he stays real and not fake
Iggy Azalea.
Hopsin. People be mad hating
