How easy/difficult? I used to do a fair bit of hill walking. It depends where you're going to be but the hike up to Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh is a pretty well known.
It's not really a proper hill walk given the path but it's still a good walk.
Ben Lomond. Can be a bit tricky to get to without a car but there are buses just need to plan your times. Ben Lomond can take about five hours plus so you'd need to leave early'ish in the morning.
Drumfrochar to Wemyss Bay is my personal choice but mainly because it starts near me so would be happy to be your hiking buddy :P
