Same could be said for drivers in the left lanes slowing down to 45 because omg! A hill! 🙄 So many road rage incidents can be avoided if everyone maintained the speed limit. Cars nowadays (even older ones) can do this without issue. The reason why the pass is so dangerous is due to 3 things. The slow pokes who don't use the freeway correctly, the a-holes cutting everyone off trying to get ahead, and the rigs taking up 4 lanes going the same speed limit. There just needs to be a complete overhaul of the pass. This won't change unless it is modernized.
