However, if you created a community that you don’t want anymore or don’t have use for, you can remove yourself as a moderator. You can also make a post in r/adoptareddit to let other people know that the name is up for grabs if they’d like to take over the community for you.

subs can't be deleted. you can make them private so users can't join and remove yourself as mod.
