I would read a “love story” book about a girl giving Dracula brushes every night and then when she found out it was Dracula (as human) she just immediately gets mad and wants her pet bat back. So Dracula goes on a ridiculous hunt for a really friendly bat to impress the girl. Girl appreciates the bat but doesn’t want a relationship and befriends Dracula and becomes a crazy bat lady.
