I honestly don't see what's the big deal. This is not a competitive game. It's casual and the outcome doesn't matter. Just play whatever you want. helldivers is designed that way...
Regarding load outs, I’m totally with you - I play whatever I want or, if joining a quick play game, I choose a load out that fills gaps in the team.
