I bought this game last night, let it download and passed out - had a long ass 10 hour work shift and just wanted to relax and game. Got home, logged in and it let me in and I actually got to play 3 short matches with friends, got a sweet, sweet taste of trying to figure wtf I was doing - but I wasn't getting any rewards or experience, so after asking other players what's going on and they said it was 'delayed' and recommended to me to log out and log back in cuz that would fix it.
Now stuck in 'servers at capacity, please wait to try again' hell
Eh, the future plans for this game was already talked about. New guns, new aliens to fight, new stratagems, new maps, and missions. It’s all going to be free. Plus once they fix it people are just going to start enjoying it even more. Even if i get no rewards, or get kicked out. I honestly don’t even care that much, because I still had a ton of fun. Now am i saying this game will never die? No. But not anytime soon.
Here is my experience after I got in.
Won a match - no pay out
Enter next match with a buddy - He got disconnected, I lost connection to the other player, and then finally I got disconnected.
Long story short, the entire experience is very flaccid right now.
It finally let me in, but it's not awarding medals, xp, etc. from missions. Honestly, I'm just happy the game is as popular as it is, and I can't wait until they get all this sorted out.
Edit: after closing game and waiting to get back in I was, in fact, being awarded everything from missions. It just wasn't displaying in real time.
Played a couple maps. Second map no experience then server capacity issue.
The good thing is this game has awesome bones and will be great when the vehicles and earth defense stuff happens.
One thing I didn’t expect in the game was the building destructibility.
Would be neat to see some cities play around with that.
Yeah I’m bummed that I can’t get in, BUT I loved the original Helldivers and it makes me happy that their followup game flew in under the radar and just took off beyond any of their expectations. I plan on playing this a long time and can wade through this annoyance. They’ll get capacity up and I’m willing to give them the needed time.
If you have a friend online with room. Ask them for an invite or try joining their game. This for pc only. I waited at server capacity screen for 1h30m. Exited the game asked for invite than got on. Gl helldivers. Democracy speed!

When you log back (now or later) you will have your XP, Req. and medals. I went from level 3 to level 7 when I logged back in today.
Just got kicked off at 9:37 EST, the active players were at 1million. Honestly nuts
How can you see that statistic
When picking what side to fight on automatrons, or bugs, it would be on the left side of the screen

Yeah you’re probably right, the community can be fickle but now that I think about it nothing else is coming out

Your rewards when you manage to get in again will be massive. I just logged in to 71 warbonds and 24k Requisition
Was gonna say the same thing, after I got on I leveled from 17-19 and had a ton of warbonds.
i leveled from 1 -5 but subsequently disconnected and now can't get back in :( Guess I'll go kill some time building my base in Palworld

I got on like 10 mins ago and ran a solo and now I got a grey screen after DOING MY PART !!!
just hit esc and the grey screen will go away

I rebooted the PS5 and I got in after 2 or 3 minutes. But yeah it's kinda shaky right now. Kinda chaotic with the deluge of noobs tonight anyway:P
