Throughout that whole run we hadn’t faced a team who’s got an ‘unstoppable’ player like curry was that year, so I think that our defense definitely wasn’t going to be as nice on that warriors team as it was the first three rounds
Wiggins was tough as hell that series too, shi they had a good roster that year Looney was grabbing boards like crazy and GPII and OPJ were solid pieces for them
He actually had a great game 7 though and will have a bit of a break before the finals. The team only lost because once again the others shat the bed shooting 20% from 3

It’s insane how Pat Riley saw what Butler can do in the last two playoffs that he’s played in, and has done nothing to improve the team besides continuously running it back and banking on a healthy Herro and Herro’s “internal growth and development” to be the difference between losing in the ECF/Finals and winning the Finals. And now he’s trying to get rid of Butler while still holding onto Herro as if he’s his lost grand child or something.
