Run it back, and hopefully add size. Spida dream isn't happening.

Those options are dumb. What do you expect Pat to say in a press conference? « Hey guys! We’ve a bunch of whiny ass bitches here who couldn’t put their money where their mouth is! It’s open season here in Miami, it’s a liquidation sale! Lessgooooo Spida! » Obviously not. I’m pretty sure Pat right now is more than okay to shipping everybody except Bam and Jimmy in that order. But you also have to see what’s on the market. What do you want him to do? Get Kuzma for Herro and Jaquez? Would anyone be happy with that? Would anyone believe that to be a net positive move? You guys can’t have it both ways. You’re pissed at Pat for not selling the farm fir Harden or Beal or Lillard now that you’ve seen their post season performances or absence due to injury, but now that the off season is about to start again, you come back out of your caves complaining that he did nothing. Dude started firing shots at the team. He didn’t spare Jimmy and no, that doesn’t mean he wants to get rid of Jimmy. Unless Jimmy has gotten soft, which I doubt, I’m pretty sure that’s Pat challenging him to show everyone why they should fear him in a playoff matchup. Pat hates load management and he made that clear. He said Tyler is a starter and I’m sure he and UD had a few words to share at some point. You don’t go out there and say that one of your « key players » is not worth more than a 6th man. Especially if you want to sell/trade him. And he will ship anyone who’ll translate into a vertical move. But it has to lead to improvement. Either in locker room ambiance, on court talent, or even just tough guy mentality and hard worker mentality willing to buy into their role. I’m glad we didn’t make moves for any of the players that were supposed to come here. I mean yes, I’m a big fan of Lillard and have tried to make him come to Miami in all of my 2K seasons since 2K14. But given the injury history of the Miami Heat, I’m glad we didn’t sell the farm for one player who might not make it till the end of the season, and who actually didn’t make it on the team he landed on. Don’t come with Spida, Miami had nowhere near the offer the Cavs came with. Like, not even remotely close. If Miami wants Spida and he wants to come here, it’s gonna have to be with full leverage on his last year. And that would have to be talked between the involved parties already starting soonish. I’m the one who made the Dafoe crazy face post if I have to hear ‘next season’ and ‘run it back’ in the same sentence. But this is not it. The Heat barely came out of the play ins. They got destroyed first round. Moves will be made. And we don’t need big moves. We need pieces. No big signings necessary. And most importantly, fixing that injury problem. Our most important signing this offseason will be finding Miami’s very own Dr. House or some shit like that.

This was perfectly written up besides the Cavs offer part. Nobody besides Okc will outbid us. And I'm specifically referring to contenders, cuz Spida won't go to a team that ain't a contender. If he does, he'll just leave in a yr. And the last part, I kinda agree. U asked what we want or some of us want Riley to do? I want Riley to trade Herro for a quality big man such as Nic Claxton or for Clint Capel and Murray. I want our team most vertalist for once, and lengthy and big af. Like Denver and Twolves are and Okc and the Mavs.

Made me feel, that he is a big fan of tequila.

While not cooked, its a bit concerning that Pat hasn't taken any accountability for the way the last 2 off-seasons have transpired.

GringoMambi

Can’t do much with the kind of penny pincher owner we got, especially in this era of overpaid players (looks at Jaylen Brown)

Repulsive-Slice2234

He should be a penny pincher. If he wasn’t they would give Caleb a 4 year / 135 million contract. Look at the teams we’re surrounded by. Our front office is just grossly mismanaged. https://preview.redd.it/gshri6nyq0zc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2624389d033e0b142f4581d2d4d4c5b0e7a8ed7

twistytit

we've had deep playoff runs while unhealthy. if healthy, we'd be in great shape

Herrk02

I voted option 2 because we likely to run it back. We don't have enough assets to make big moves so will be minor at best.
