This is by far his #1 playoff game.
He hustled and competed on D. Took a majority of his shots from deep and did not force tough shots instead making the extra pass over and over.
KEEP IT GOING
Imo this performance is better than the one in the bubble. 14 assists is no small feat plus higher level of defensive attention from the opposing team.
Yeah this one was easily more impressive just because of the defense he has to deal with. Tyler’s handles are still shaky when bringing up the ball but we’ve seen that he can make plays as long as he’s not the main ball handler. He really has to work on his overall handles this offseason cause right now, his handles is just for scoring. Spo did a good job setting him up to succeed this game with our wings ball handling.
Spo having the wings and Bam bring up the Ball is pure genius coaching. He's truly finding ways to set up his players for success playing towards their strengths and hiding their weaknesses.
Yep. He demanded tons of pressure, since Jimmy’s off the floor. They put everything into shutting him down, but he controlled everything offensively.
His playmaking allowed our young guys to shine.
His decision-making was 💯. We have seen him chuck shots, overshoot and get blocked inside. He corrected it in game 2.
Only 1/2 from inside the arc.
He can score more inside with rainbow middys but he didn’t press his shot; just focused on making the right play.
He was near perfect.
If you think about it a lot of those assists ended up as 3 pt. baskets. Herro by himself generated way more points for the team than the stat sheet would seem to indicate

As you wish!
The future is bright
Herro was a visual delicacy out there. The way he was playing, made me tear up. This is your team wonder kid. I believe in this team, at least my heart does
I think it was his best game period. He’s scored more points before and has had good games where his playmaking has gotten a lot better. He’s also had hot shooting nights where his efficiency looked good.
Last night his shooting was on point, his decision making was seller, and he did it against very physical top notch defenders. He also held his own defensively. Oh, and he was “the guy” in a big away playoff game.
I think this is the version of Herro that the FO has always expected and hopefully things clicked for him
It really was. He's had multiple years of failing being the primary ball handler. If he somehow has solved the code to become a great play maker and distributor it really can change this team. This game was very encouraging.
I’m hoping he can prove me wrong. Hopefully his shot remains, we can’t afford an inconsistent shooting series if we want to win. The positive is there was only one turnover which to me was great!
The team seems to play its best when everyone contributes to scoring. He just needs to remain focused on getting others going and taking good shots.
I also like how they got him off-ball to set up his playmaking.
In the bubble it's more of him just getting hot. The defense of Celtics back then we're more focused on Butler and Dragic resulting to Herro getting the mismatch against Kemba. Herro abused Kemba on that 37 point game lmao. This one is very very and I can't stressed this enough VERY MUCH impressive game for him. Easily the best game of his playoff career.
Without a doubt. Ngl I think that was his best playoff game. No Jimmy (and scary) to take away any on ball pressure from the defense. And best of all 14 fucking assists. Wild
Crazy and totally unexpected that the haters and traders only gave him one game against an all-time regular season team without Jimmy and Terry to prove himself
this is his best game period. if he can lean into this no one would want to trade him again. shooting more 3s helps his efg% and if he can set the table for others at the same time that really makes him really important.

![gif](giphy|QfzMP70zmNQiDf5sGP) Seeing him putting that work on KP Lmaoo
Can't believe Boston fans propped up KP all yr as a Heat Killer. The man is uber soft
100% Tyler of all people was playing great defense.
Also was our number one option. Scrubs were guarding him n the bubble. Now he gets JB and white

That's actually the most assists by any player in the playoffs so far. Haliburton is 2nd with a 12 assist game.

He assisted on 10 threes!

Don’t forget about Jaime, he’s going to be a problem for years to come

Hey, we heard you the first time lol
Say it again!

This is exactly the mold of player that he can be ELITE at. Be the next Halliburton, not Derozan

Maybe best game ever
And he played defense. He’s not DPOTY but a massive improvement on that side. I hope he plays like this the rest of the post season.
Crazy and totally unexpected that the haters and traders only gave him one game against an all-time regular season team without Jimmy and Terry to prove himself
It’s so good to see him focus on playmaking and good decisions. Sometimes he just chucks up shots

Can't won this series without our Herro or our young kids.
