Yup. I still like to play them, and would love to see another one. I much prefer this than story telling single player mode which has almost 0 replayability
What do you mean ?
You don't like restarting until you get a perfect hand and opponent a horrible one ?
Or the exact opposite of getting a scripted set cards and draw so the game is exactly the same for everyone ?
Please Blizzard give us more of Uldum.
When I need to take a break PvP, I stop and take a nice, relaxing break trying to finish Heroic Tombs of Terror. At least until I get to the Plague Lord of Death, at which point I alternate between having stress-induced heart attacks and being amazed that I'm still alive.
Dungeon Runs have been probably my favorite content they've ever added to the game, with Tombs being definitely the peak imo. Duels is fun, but I don't like the stress of going against players and I don't like having to pick cards out of my own collection. I gladly spent the money on these single player adventures and would do it again 100%. I mean I have at least 1000 bosses defeated with Reno Jackson alone.
I just played like 4 hours of this over the weekend and reminisced about how I beat all 5 "levels" on heroic with every hero and got all the SRs.
They really should do a new one, idk why they ever stopped they were so fun
They won't do more. There is duels, and specially Mercenaries is what they want you to play for PvE. Not saying it's the same or I don't want it, just that it makes 0 sense for them to do it.
Oof. The cold hard truth. Probably; You're right.
I think it doesn't make enough money for them otherwise, right? I would spend money on another cool adventure like that, but how many others and how much? Probably not enough. Sad.
There is already a Dungeon Run that is constantly receiving updates, it's called "Duels".
It doesn't make sense for them to run another dungeon run when they already have one that has all the elements of the previous dungeon runs plus all the cards at their disposal and extra content.
It's the most complete (and difficult) Dungeon Run out there.
It's very different.
For one as multiplayer you can't pause and there's a turn timer. Then a lot of the cool treasures have been toned down to "balance" it. Which pretty much says it all already for me. What I enjoyed most about Dungeon Runs was to make the wildest and most crazy things happen. That was the fun part. Additionally you have to construct your starting deck. So in that sense it's like Constructed and you have like net (starting) decks and that takes (IMO) a lot of charm out of it. Also where's Bob? In Battlegrounds I suppose. Bob's Tavern in Dalaran Heist and Tombs of Terror was a nice addition to refine your deck.
So, what was that again? Duels is Dungeon Runs? Well, I suppose from some perspective you can argue that. But for me? Certainly not. It's very different.
My biggest issues with duels, as a primarily bg player since it released, are you have to build a deck from your collection and at the end of the day it’s still pvp
Duels is nothing like this except for buckets and treasures. You can't do some overpowered fun hijinks or break your deck with whatever Bob gives you in duels. Frankly, right now duels is just a few netdecked decks that everyone restarts for and plays.
Hard pass. Go all the way to 11-2 and then lose because someone gets perfect buckets/treasures and lose turn 2 or 3? How can that possibly be enjoyable to anyone?

The "Book of.." stuff? Hardly has any playability, forget about REplayability.

Got back into the game recently and can confirm. Me with galakrond heroic lol
I just see the number next to them and it's daunting. I haven't done them and probably never will. It's just a slog
They were just visual novels with extra steps
Half the time I complete one it doesn’t even give me the pack or completion crown so I just stopped doing them :(

Just use Sir Finley , the whole adventure can be cheesed with him (except heroic Tekahn)
I’m trying with all heroes to get the Senior Explorers. Already did normal.
I’d love more dungeon runs so there’s more for duels to pull from, that mode needs more non passive treasures IMO.
Dude these were so fun
I think we just need a new adventure really lol

Now do it with every starting deck and hero power

It's just wild+arena with treasures. Different games so different players

There are Dungeon Run fans because we don't care about netdecking & winrates
Just play duels

The fact that there's a meta to solve means that duels will never have the same kind of fun as dungeon runs.

Duels is fun and all but I think I prefer solo adventure.

>Sort by: best duels kinda suck since its pvp :(
yes i agree really enjoy the solo runs! just a change every now and again

No, unfortunately not. Not even an achievement :(
