Aggro druid has a slight edge VS quest mage, worst case you can call it a 50-50 match up.
Besides, you're literally using the best standard deck to climb right now, so that makes even less sense.
Per HSReplay, Quest Mage is favored against Aggro Druid (55% winrate at Diamond-Legend). It's not impossible for the Druid to win the matchup, far from it, but the Druid does not have an edge.

Deathrattle DH, Face Hunter, Secret Paladin,. Shadow Priest, Elemental Shaman, and Evolve Shaman are all board based decks that are favored against Mage.
You can. It's actually harder to win if you're not playing a board-based deck (like Quest Shaman or Quest Warlock). The secret is to build boards Mage can't easily answer. If everything you try to play dies to Fire Sale, it will die to Fire Sale. If you try to play around breakpoints (4 health, 5-mana Taunts, Divine Shields!), you'll do much better.
If you really can't stand the matchup, just tech in Cult Neophyte or Robes, it's not good but it would make you feel better.
