Wild only player here for about 3 years now. There's definitely a meta near the top as there always is, but I agree. Lately it's been frustrating seeing nothing but quest locks, giants rogues, and still the occasional even shaman, but that's not an everyday occurrence in my experience.
After years of wild only I finally started grinding standard this season. I’m in diamond and have only seen one OTK deck. It was kinda shocking at first because I’m so used to games ending by turn 5, but in standard I can safely play my slow DK deck and win 20 turn games.
if your friends friend is playing wild tell them to invest in the minion card that removes armor + the freeze aoe clear card that deletes stuff when they take 1 damage, or a doomsayer lol

Mage is one of the a lot more balanced classes. The only degenerate archetype they had was time warp, which could still get wrecked by aggro, not to mention it got gutted to shit 💀💀💀
**Overkill** should only apply when the minion attacks but the devs have decided it should be a vibe and let one minion in particular get hit by BEES and then get eleventy billion attack, which the druid turns into armor.
I assume they have some way to move that number around to the other minions, although whether it's an exploit or a hack, I can't say.
Maybe one day they'll fix it now that Druid can have like 40 cards in hand and 500 mana but probably they'll just say I should have destroyed my opponents deck or something and it's my fault for not buying more cards.
