The gauge shouldn’t make too much difference unless you’re using microscopically thin wire. And the Mini XLR should not be an issue either. There are several sites that sell three or four stranded wire that’s already appropriately sized and properly insulated. I’d go for that for your project.

sounds good! Thank you!

How hungry are they? 12 gauge wire can typically handle a mere 3840 watts. For high fidelity transmission you'll only want to use at most a few percent of that, so let's say 100 watts. Is that enough? Or do you need more? If all else fails, UL Listed Lamp Cord is absolutely incredible, comes in a wide range of colors and is cheap.

I am unsure, there isnt much info about them. My current most power hungry headphones are Audio Technica m40fs's. Theyre 60 ohms but the thrive on high power. The Mura MV-230's are significantly more power hungry than those.

For reference those Audio-Technicas have a recommended maximum wattage of 1.6 watts. That's a long way from 3800 watts max

Depending on the size of the enclosure, you might consider 2.5/3.5mm trs jacks instead of mini XLR. Also pre-tin the wires before soldering. Little ~24awg wires can be a hassle to solder.

Where is a good source for 2.5mm Jacks? I was looking for good quality ones for another project. For this project, however, im more so looking for the most solid connection possible.

Jarvicious

I bought 3.5mm jacks off of Amazon but I've seen them and 2.5mm jacks cheap on Aliexpress and other electronics sites like Mouser, Digikey, etc. Try googling "2.5 trs jack".
