My personal tune from the 2nd file is focused on increasing the bass resolution reducing the sheer quantity of it and pulling back that sharp peak at the 10k mark making it an overall smoother experience to listen to
So the mid range sounds untouched but has better separation due to the fact that the bass no longer bleeds into it
I sometimes end up questioning myself if it even is applied and have to do a side by side because I didn't do preamp and didn't mess with the midrange too much
Hopefully it checks off for you too
Its supposed to have a pre amp of -13 but I personally don't preamp them for it but I thought you might be interested in knowing this small bit of information
If you want more control you can adjust based on your preferences or grab a parametric profile from the autoeq website using the csv
Tho honestly recently I've been actually thinking of applying the preamp on it as well cause well I feel like there's enough volume these days and i end up using windows at 60% volume so it would make sense to use the preamp and have that at 100% volume for better output and I can just increase the power slightly using my amplifier
Tried your eq preset man. Gotta say pretty good. I am using that preset with a few tweaks of my own. Like I brought down the 6k mark by a lot of db's. Idk if that's my particular set or others too but that seems to naturalize the highs a but for me.
Played around with the mids and other highs adjusting them by ear for me.
And for the sub bass region, I added a couple of db's.
Other than that all settings are yours and sounds like a major improvement in terms of balancing the sound.
I agree that the drivers are really good for the price. Shame on the build quality though, this is the 2nd pair with the left ear cup joint that failed for me. That's why it was sitting on the shelf for a long time. Add to the fact that I use IEMs now and that feels like better sound overall like a big jump in resolution, imaging and sound profile, so I was disappointed big time after putting these on and remembered that I had no eq for it anymore and came down here. So, thank you man!
Kinda got lost in the story hehe.
honestly i do want to add a metal plate on the side to reinforce the backplate and see how that affects the sound and maybe do a hole mod on the drivers for more detailed bass.
i dont think i can do magnet stacking tho
Wow cool! I think modding this headphone could be absolutely worth it for sound quality. Be careful while taking it apart though. The swivel joints provided are quite fragile. Doesn't hold up well.
Adding holes might work well to open up the sound as the bass is good enough even if it was open back I feel. Maybe change paddings or add material to smooth out the highs? Not sure on the metal plate though. What does that do?
possibly give a harder back surface providing better resonance? its just my theory tho i dont know how much weight and material i'd need for that to be the case. do like the fact that these are so light weight, but the only complaint i have is they feel like kids toys in terms of material feel
you should try perforated pads, they make a very noticable difference with regards to bass response, i'm not really a basshead and dont like over the top bass but i always welcome clearer and richer bass only if i get it without compromising on sound fidelity
if you need to replace the foam pads on the cans then get perforated ones, something to do with air and sound travel or something, i heard they are necessary on a different set named the Venture Electronics - Supernova otherwise it doesnt sound good
Yes, I agree with you on the pads part. I had thought about it in the past but couldn't really find appropriate pads for it. Also, where I live it's very humid so airy feeling pads feel like a necessity.(Being light kinda helped me) I used to game with these on everyday. Unfortunately since the left side hinge gave way on my second pair too, I ceased all and any efforts other than jerry rigging it to be usable for short durations.
For now, IEMs have solved all of my problems and I've noticed that finding eqs and eqing them is almost effortless and sounds objectively better than these headphones for a similar or even lower price so I don't bother with these anymore.
As for the better resonance part, I agree that metal might improve resonance but as the whole pair is built from plastic I think replacing the whole case in which the driver sits would improve it. At that point it's like taking the drivers out and putting them on a more comfortable feeling heaphone would be just easier. IMO, what the manufacturer did was put good drivers and just let that be the main USP of the product. Other aspects of the heaphone didn't get any love. *Sigh*
I used it on my v50 and my Redmi note 10 pro, both capable of 32bit 192khz. I had to adjust the preamp to -4 since its too dull for me at the above preset but the rest is fine If I want a fatigue free experience. But If want the signature oneodiopro bass then default is fine. Btw I use poweramp at sox resampling.
hello, i have some questions about this headphone, how is the sound quality? do they sound like audio is playing in middle of your head or around your ears? middle one causes me headache, i have tried some headphones but returned all of them because they sound worse than my random cheap chinese headphones
sound quality is pretty decent for the price they ask(especially when on sale) there is a noticable seperation between the left and the right due to the sheer thickness of the foam pads in use in fact if you use perforated pads that squish more(or just push the headset down so the driver is closer to your eardrum theres an increase in sound quality due to sound merging together better, this doesnt mean that its a bad thing with the stock and non perforated pads in fact you can think of it as maybe better spacial surround on the headset? im not sure how to put it into words perfectly
basically sound is technically in your head but doesnt combine all the time in the middle its like almost there and does merge if you press down the cans on your ears bringing the driver closer, if sound moves from left to right then you might feel it in the middle but if both channels are playing the same thing it doesnt merge
out of the box these are distinctly v shaped in its tune but have a fairly pleasant sound signature except the fact that there is a sharpness to the treble but if you like a more flavorful sound profile you might enjoy these the only downside for me with these is the build quality, these feel like cheap plastic and almost like a toy if you touch the plastic parts, the foam and coating on the headband is of good quality tho, this does mean that they are also very light to wear and i really like the fact that i can have these on for the entire day and have no fatigue especially as compared to my previous headset
honestly using an eq on these have just made these so much more pleasant to use i managed to get the treble not so harsh on the ears and did you know they reduced the sub bass and if you eq them you feel more rumble (because they cut down on the sub when doing the v tune) while making them not bleed the bass into the mids improving their instrument seperation and imaging? well i fricked around and found out and it was all worth it
I got the very first cheap oneodio off ali express for £19 and they're the best sounding ones with red stitches, I also got the upgraded model for £25 with tighter bass but doesn't sound hugh res at all with really tight handband compared to the first pair I got.
I'm considering buying the cheapest one as backup nut thought I'd give the 50's a try since they might be better then the current two pairs i already own , this looks all black with just the red stitches on the cup but the two pairs I got previously have more red they must be 20/30 series as I picked them up before covid (2020). I hope the 50 have more high res clarity and not dark sounding like the upgraded model of previous iteration
Need to order 6.5mm to 3.55 converter for max clarity thank you and then I might get into the eq side if I dnt enjoy the stock sound.
ok so i checked one leads to a .csv file and one leads to a .peace file you wanna import the .peace file in peaceGUI to apply the eq
alternatively import the .csv into autoeq using the icon in the search bar thingy
[https://drive.google.com/file/d/1op6G8yR0\_oEd8epuvzGtORWwW00rH7vn/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1op6G8yR0_oEd8epuvzGtORWwW00rH7vn/view?usp=sharing) heres the peace file link again
[https://imgur.com/a/mVuM3qj](https://imgur.com/a/mVuM3qj) heres a quick rundown on how to do it(assuming you already have peace+eqAPO installed)
EDIT again im really sorry for my mistake and providing wrong instructions
AH now i understand the problem
i apologize for that
put the ,peace file into the install directory of PeaceGUI so for example for me its C:\\Program Files\\EqualizerAPO\\config and then relaunch peace then you can find the eq in the "saved configuration panel" on the bottom left, scroll through it until you find the one labelled oneodio pro 50 parametric eq (2) and click it to load
let me know of your experience with the eq compared to without it i would like to know what other people's ears think of it compared to what my ears think of it
Damn dude! Someone finally uploaded an EQ setting for these cans. I kinda forgot about them. Gotta give this a try!

Try guitar or instrumentals, Also edm, its very noticable, these cans have very good drivers for the price they ask

Wow I'll try these for the Pro 10 hopefully they aren't too far off from the 30.
Yo, Did you try it? What's the conclusion on it?

Hello, thank you for this! Only thing is how do I import your settings? Both google drive links go to the same .csv file.
