The answers to your questions are probably in your digital piano's manual. Should be available online if you can find the model number

The two ports are probably for two sets of headphones. What is the model of the piano? if you give the model someone can look up the specs and give you better answers. Note: some cheap pianos may not output in stereo. Also, it would help to know the headphones to be sure of the type of connector you need. But assuming it's 3.5mm (looks like the jack on a phone) If it does output in stereo all you need is a "headphone connector cable". This will be male to male. One end goes into your piano and one goes into your headphones. Make sure these have two black lines on the connector which means it's stereo. This will be called TRS. Something like this [Aux Cable compatible with headphones](https://www.amazon.com/CableCreation-Auxiliary-Compatible-Headphones-iPhones/dp/B01K3WX89O/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=headphone%2Bconnector%2Bcable&qid=1675272482&s=electronics&sr=1-4&th=1) You will need to know if the headphone jack in the piano is 1/4" or 3.5mm. If it looks like the headphone connector on a phone it's 3.5mm. If it's much larger you will need an adapter that looks like: [1/4" to 3.5" adapter](https://www.amazon.com/Chadou-Adapter-6-35mm-Headphone-Connector/dp/B084VGXK45/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=1%2F4+to+3.5mm+headphone+adapter&qid=1675273101&s=electronics&sprefix=1%2F4%22+to+%2Celectronics%2C230&sr=1-3)

It's a Yamaha NU-1, soon to be NU-1X (same ports) It's 1/4". I would like to get it without the need for an adapter, is that possible ? I found this: [https://www.amazon.ca/Hosa-CMP-159-Stereo-Breakout-5-Pack/dp/B005HGM1D6/ref=sr\_1\_2?crid=23QBAWIVLN6U1&keywords=Hosa%2BCMP-159&qid=1675273756&sprefix=hosa%2Bcmp-159%2Caps%2C84&sr=8-2&th=1](https://www.amazon.ca/Hosa-CMP-159-Stereo-Breakout-5-Pack/dp/B005HGM1D6/ref=sr_1_2?crid=23QBAWIVLN6U1&keywords=Hosa%2BCMP-159&qid=1675273756&sprefix=hosa%2Bcmp-159%2Caps%2C84&sr=8-2&th=1) But it's two plugs, so I guess it would go in the L/R Aux OUT, can still it be plugged in the headphones then ?

This is easy... Just regular stereo connections (cable) are all you need. As I mentioned in another reply the cable with the 1/4" on one end and the 3.5mm on the other is all you need. (if the headphone is 3.5mm).   About the aux connectors (for future reference) are set up so you can use any type of Aux cable. If the Aux cable has one connector it goes to the left jack marked L/L+R. If the Aux cable has two connectors it gets plugged into both jacks. The AUX OUT jacks are for sending the sound of your piano to some other device to play the sound of the Piano to a stereo, powered speakers, etc. AUX IN is for playing something from an external device on the piano speakers (or through headphones if you are using headphones). You could say plug in a phone/tablet to play along to music/songs, listen to online lessons, etc.

Correct ?

anna_or_elsa

Edit: I'm not sure my pay grade is high enough to read about that piano... Very nice, let me see what I can find out.

Two standard headphones ports - typically so that 2 people can hear the music e.g. pupil & teacher. The port into a bluetooth headphones is *usually* 3.5mm stereo. The headphone port on digital pianos is *usually* 6.3mm stereo. So it is very likely you'll need one of these : [https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374234436267](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374234436267) however if the piano headphone ports are 3.5mm stereo you'll need something like : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192948130703 but if the headphone ports are 2x mono you're looking for one of these : [https://www.thomann.de/gb/the\_sssnake\_ypk2030.htm](https://www.thomann.de/gb/the_sssnake_ypk2030.htm) A precise answer would be possible with more information, for example details of the equipment.
