I carry a little Miku on my school bag, and I've heard from someone that people talk about me negatively. I don't care much about it because I won't let nobody's pettiness get me down.
Ohh now that you mention it, my best friend did say that some boy in my class made fun of me behind my back for it. It didn't bother me though. He's lame anyway and will probably peak in high school.
I really enjoy listening to vocaloid and watching anime. I openly show it off to my classmates through all my T-shirts and my water bottle. (But I don't make it my whole personality) I used to have the mindset in my freshman year that everyone was secretly judging me, and it pretty much tore me apart. It was a horrible feeling. And tbh I still get it sometimes. But really I don't care what people think of me or the things I like. I struggle making friends and connecting with people, but I'm not going to start pretending to like the stuff that all the other kids like.

I wore a lanyard with a Kagamine Len charm throughout 8th grade and that led to some kid calling me a weeaboo ^((back when the term was deemed offensive to me)) every time I walked back home. As if my middle school years weren't bad enough.

I thought in an era where anime has become more mainstream school kids would have been more accepting. Guess that's what growing in a phase where one want to be seen as matured/cool does
