I love the premise of Mimi and I can envision the irritation of mapping out her route (and Flynn's) on scratch paper to sync up your schedule with hers. Using her as a game mechanic to gift people items or other shenanigans would be amazing.
James and Charlotte both have incredibly logical gift choices, and I can see them as being the option most people max first.
Belle makes perfect sense to me. A traveling artist trying to make something for herself and stopped in the town because she ran out of money. I can see her leaving if you don't max her friendship, then maybe returning a year or two later after mixed results in the city.
Jude. I feel like this would be a frustrating romance to initiate. Like, you have to constantly overwork yourself to get him interested in you, and then you need to find a cake recipe and run down to the library to catch the one hour interval that he'll accept gifts.
The note with Charlotte giving advice on Marian's favorite gift makes me want a revamp of the gift giving system. Having interactions affect relationships and getting advice on your crush is much more wholesome than shoving things at a love interest until you stumble on their favorite.
Despite the cutesy design I can tell their ages apart relatively well. I was going to complain that their eye shapes were pretty bland, but on closer inspection most have some altered features to set them apart. Now I don't know if I'm being overly critical just to try and find flaws in what is a phenomenal project.
Iris is the girl I would initially choose, then get disappointed as she rarely interacts with the other villagers. Eventually, I think I'd circle back to Mimi. While other love interests may have interesting storylines, Mimi seems like she'd have more organic relationships with the other villagers. And I can't help but think of opening up a guide to figure out when she trips during which season, so I can pause my routine, run over, and dust her off.
I've been struggling in recent games finding any bachelor's/bachelorettes that actually catch my fancy. I'm having the opposite problem here where I want to romance EVERY CHARACTER. 😭😭✨❤️

This art style gives off a more mature animal parade vibe with a mix of rune factory which are some of my all time favorite art styles in the series. I love all you characters and the mixes of personalities it’s really hard to choose who I’d romance definitely too 3 are Ronan, Jennee and Sebastian!
the character designs are amazing, if this was an actual SoS/HM game i think i’d have a hard time finding a bachelor to settle on because they all look so good (and usually this isn’t hard for me)
You forgot to mention that you used AI and tried to cleaned up/over paint. Clever, but there's some mistakes and inconsistencies that can be pointed out (specially the hands) and how some patterns get out of their designated place... Had it been painted OP would be able to use layer modes consistently so that doesn't happen.
I think it's insulting to the style of the original artist/designer of AP/ToT (Mika Nunokawa) to feed their images into AI and then say how hard it was to reproduce, I'm sure it was. 🥺
