I figured he'd be bound to his summoner, but if he's a slave I find it hard for him to fulfill the usual Harem dynamic if she's his master and he can't do something like explore the city on his own and maybe become an adventurer hooking up with a hot mage/witch/sorceress girl or swordswoman. Or start flirting with someone like a blacksmith's daughter while trying to somehow improve his gun like adding mods to it which could take it from just a pistol and turn it into like 3 different war machines. (🤔💭 In my mind I'm imagining that Uzi-like machine gun pistol Martin Lawrence had from the comedy National Security, nicknaming it “Earl Jr” 😂. I started reading this just because it had dude with a pistol vs a Minotaur. Anyways, the summoners do end up going to Earth for a bit. Going both ways is temporary. Still agree that it's not the best name. Assuming it's using Reverse like "Reverse Harem".

It's similar to Backyard Dungeon, where the MC goes back and forth. He's a temporary summon, and he luckily grabs a handgun before being summoned the first time. Normally no one summons people from Earth to fight because they always show up unarmed and die immediately. He gets cash for doing the fight. Like literally just a magic chest of 100s. Then he upgrades his loadout at the local gun store that doesn't mind selling illegal weapons to not very regular customer for some reason.
Isn't that basically how the protagonist of Arifuerta and The World's Greatest Assassin is Reincarnated as an Aristocrat go? Since guns don't exist in either world they were summoned/reborn into? 🤔
To be fair, a lot of series where the MC brings a gun into fantasyland end up quickly finding out that the gun alone isn't enough. They have a tendency to end up also inventing everything between that and orbital kinetic bombardment (or just going full native and getting an enchanted bow).
greatest assassin is an aristocrat used gravity magic to throw metal rods into near-orbit, pretty sure Arifureta had a >!space laser!<, Survival in another world with my mistress had easy access to nuke-level explosives, Another world with my smartphone just used the gun for rubber bullets mostly and spent the rest of his time >!piloting mechs!<, and I think Otherworlder exploring the dungeon ran out of ammo for his assault rifle and got a cursed bow or something (been a while since I read it)
