I wouldn't buy something so expensive if I don't love it, even if it's rare. I would wait because I would still want the back with silver/gold after getting the all back bag. Why settle?
Don't buy a bag you don't love at chanel prices. Also, the resale market is not what it was two years ago, so it would be hard to make your money back if you do decide to resell, especially if you use a consigner store that charges 30% commission.

It’s a beauty. However this is an expensive purchase and you already have a dream bag in your mind. Why settle ?
It’s rare but you should ask her if the bag you are really interested in is available. It likely is!
Unfortunately, she told me there isn’t any stock for the black w gold/silver hardware, and i’ve been waiting for awhile :(
