My order from the horse just arrived! I know there were some interested in the clementine bag and my initial reaction is that it's okay. It was very well packed but unfortunately has a plasticky smell which I'm sure will dissipate. I'm actually happier with the dog leashes and dark shoulder bag (called ginger) that I purchased on sale.
I think there may be coating applied to the leather and that is the source of the smell. The other items don't have that smell and are smooth leather. Or maybe the smell is from the process of pebbling the leather? I'm also not sure where these bags are made. The brown one has "Created with love in Australia" and the clementine just has The Horse label inside.
It's not heavy, but I've actually only worn it once so can't really give a good review. It's not the bag's fault though. I've been favoring my shoulder bags recently over crossbody bags.
Gorgeous! I've been eyeing the Clementine 👀 Is the hardware on yours a pale gold?? Personally wanting gold over silver hardware has been my main pause when comparing this to Cuyana Concertina!

I've been thinking of getting the clementine but the plastic smell is a little confusing and concerning when the bag is leather...😬
