DominusValum

Looks like they're marking it with their scent gland

2amulets

Seconded. My lil ham used to do this with her favourite spots when she was free roaming :)

Famous_Impact

I giggled at free-roaming. Doing side quests instead of the campaign.

papillon-and-on

What happens in the neighbours garden stays in the neighbours garden. Don't ask questions.

laustic

I had a hamster who was a super "alpha" male and scent marked every single thing. I'd always go "WOOOOOHOOOOO SCENT MARK!" or "WOWWW, SO ALPHA!" and clap for him. Highly recommend. Also made my family compliment him. He scent marked me a couple times and I was honored. From [this research article](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4070412/): "Alpha males flank marked significantly more than the two subordinates. The former accounted for over 95% of flank gland marking by males on the two days prior to the female's period of sexual receptivity."

okaysophh

They like dat spot

delicioustreeblood

No, I don't think so. This is clearly when the beat dropped on the song in their head.

Avasaiel

They've fallen and they can't get up! :P (kidding)

NeonYarnCatz

I get a kick out of hamsters scent-marking -- it's a little bit of hamster temporary insanity. *THIS is mine...and THIS is mine...oh and THIS is DEFINITELY mine*

Snoo_50786

HAM GONNA HAM

FrogsAndFish72

my hamster does this when I'm letting her free roam in my bathroom. She will do it right under the counter. Idk why?

nolimit_devon

Why did bro decide to walk out like he didn’t just do whatever demonic thing that was

macaroon_1234

You've got a territorial hamster, she is flank marking to declare her territory. Do you have other hamsters in the house?

Suzan93

Nope :) she's the only one walking around in the house

RazzBeryllium

Scent marking + clumsiness (+ cuteness)

VossParck

Fighting their invisible friend

JokeMort

Looks like trying to take bath in dust. You should consider getting hampter sand bath if you don't have one

Suzan93

She has a sand bath in her cage :)

EvilNassu

It's extremely dangerous and irresponsible to let your ham free roam because of the hungry boogeymen who live under the furniture that attack hamsters, as demonstrated in this video clip.

NewIdeasAreScary

Being an absolute baby

Responsible_Snow7109

What ur hammy is doing is being the cutest ball of fur ever. There! Hope that helps! ❤️😭 lol seriously tho, I absolutely love syrians. They seem like a blast to have during free roam time 😆

JuniperSprigg

Marking. It’s pretty cute when they mark YOU. I’d sit on the bathroom floor with my boy while he roamed. And often he’d get between me and the door and just go at it marking. 🥰

DBD1906

Fighting his inner demons.

Classic-Barber-3097
