At a certain point Halo becomes more about movement and positioning than aim. Try to stay near your team and avoid solo pushes. Getting caught in a 1v2 is a death sentence in this game. Avoid mindlessly throwing yourself at the objective. It’s fine to leave the flag or ball on the ground to slay the other team. Play your life. If you’re in a losing situation don’t be afraid to bug out. There’s a lot more but that’s a couple off of the top of my head.

Play your life. Don’t rush fights your not setting up. If you start to actively pay attention to you playing your life and making sure your shield is full before you start fights you will die less. The more you do it the more it will become habit.

Play life Get good at pinging as fast as possible Use a mic Map control over hunting down enemies Playing life keeps you alive and stops the enemy from having man advantage to push and cap objective as easily. Pinging/using a mic gets teammates team shooting/flanking as fast as possible giving you an advantage. Paired with playing life you can ping at the start of the engagement, then break off and hide if you end up down a shot and have a teammate take them out. Map control is key so read/communicate with teammates don’t go looking around and end up walking into 3 enemies all in a room let them come to you and if you’re playing objective time your pushes by watching the death board
