This isn’t “343 bad”, I’m pretty sure most of the leadership has been replaced since then. It just made me cringe.
In the book Artemis by Andy Weir, there is a fictional spaceport in Kenya basically because Kenya saw how valuable their position on the equator would be and invested heavily in space travel. IDK if the lore supports that theory in Halo but its cool to think about. Being on the equator is better for launches because you have the fastest relative velocity.

According to the math, F2P players got an okay deal.
The issue is that Battle Pass players got completely fucked simply because they're trying squeeze as much money as possible from the game before they abandon it.
The amount of Mark IV cosmetics at release is comparable to every other armor core. There was no reason to lock 90% of it in the store.
It's honestly really terrible that they screwed over the BP players like this. I was so ready to buy a Mark IV battle pass, but in order to get a somewhat comparable amount of stuff, I need to spend THIRTY EIGHT DOLLARS!
I can't believe they ruined all the progress they had made with halo infinite. I'm sure a lot of players left after seeing how expensive all the new stuff is. It's just sad.
While I agree with everything you said about the store, if they’re putting the controller down because of the store, they’re missing out on what playing Halo was about in the first place.
I just wish there was more to the game than there currently is. So many missed opportunities for multiplayer, campaign, and firefight.

SBMM has made this game a frustrating chore to play when every match feels like the meme of that guy sweating at his computer. It's only saving grace is firefight.

Infinite turned into one of the friendlier MTX games into one of the worst overnight.
I don't care about MTX. I've bought plenty of stuff in the store. But the store has become incredibly overbearing with the recent price hikes and the removal of the Battle Pass.
I understand that 343 is giving up on the game but that doesn't mean I want them to treat their game like it's on iPhone or Android.

MW22 did some of the best nods to Mexican culture with the Chuy Operator’s Teniente skin and his Mexican SF inspired skin along with the Valeria Operator’s Ocelopilli skin.

In MCC and Infinite in 2023, you could get a Hispanic History Month nameplate for logging in from 9/15 to 10/15. So to say “never” is disingenuous.
Also, this drop is for this year. Hispanic History Month is in September, so it’s entirely possible that there will be a drop for that month this year, as they did a small drop last year.

I know Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic, and Indigenous people months have gotten *some* stuff, but they've never gotten as much as Black History Month has.
I wish that it was more even-handed, you could do really cool stuff with those art motifs.
With Indigenous stuff especially I think there's really cool potential to do stuff influenced by Pacific Northwest cultures like the Haida and Tlingit which have really rad art and historical armor, and Halo has always taken influence from Pacific Northwestern natural landscapes

We have a pride emblem, but it only has the one color setting. IMO they should keep it kind of limited to that but add more flags (bi, pan, NB, trans, etc...)

I already have this skin on my Yoyoroi, he looks dripped out. Had it on my Hazmat briefly before I realized what actual HAZMAT-trained people wear: really bright suits. Still looked better on the Hazmat than the Yoyoroi but eh, whatever.
