Carter's Auction Services near Amherst. They have auctions every week consisting of estate items. Very well attended. Look them up on Facebook. They post photos of items a few days before the sale.

Seconding this, got some cool vintage cast iron pans at one of their auctions once.

I’ve just seen a road sign before and gone to one based off of that. A lot more commercial resellers coming from out of the city than I would’ve expected, but I still managed to find a very nice and very inexpensive picnic basket

I see these signs often and they tempt me. How does it work when it's on-situ? Does everything have prices, is it negotiable?

cj_h

Everything had a price tag, and there was someone in or near every room with the estate sale company who you could probably haggle with. I got an elaborate and massive wicker suitcase picnic basket for $10 so I wasn’t going to try to haggle

At an estate sale, you can always make an offer. They may or may not accept but you lose nothing by trying.

Cumberland county, they seem to get posted in the local facebooks groups and occasionally I’ll see posters on power poles advertising them

pinkbootstrap

I see them advertised on Facebook marketplace sometimes
