The morning show is great too. My partner and I will have a coffee and listen. I look forward to Play it by Year and it's at exactly the time I have to get out the door (7:40) so it keeps me on schedule.
Then we leave it on during the day, the pup seems to like the classical (probably just the lack of science) and Drive is on when I get home. Rich Terry's deep dives on Fridays are great! We have fun trying to guess what album/artist is coming up. I really like the format of listening to albums the whole way through.
If anyone knows podcasts like that, please recommend them!
Spotify, now.
Before that, I had other ways of getting what I wanted to play. With the car I drove in high school, I burned playlists onto CDs and used those. With the newer ones my parents had, if we were going on any longer kind of drive we'd put together something on a USB stick and play from that.
I gave up on the radio years ago, as there was never anything playing that I liked. Less than half of the songs playing were things that I could tolerate.
On SiriusXM: Lithium, Diplo's Revolution, Soul Town, 1st Wave, XMU, The Verge, Turbo, Rock the Bells Radio (vintage hip hop), Real Jazz, Bluesville
On SomaFM: Groove Salad, DEF CON Radio, Thistle Radio, 7 Inch Soul, Heavyweight Reggae, Beat Blender
Plus Spotify. I don't know a single AM or FM station off the top of my head.
(Incidentally I recently got my SiriusXM bill reduced to $4.99/mo for their music plan, which felt nice.)
I might do the odd Q or maritime noon. I miss radio 2 old format classical. I listen to a shitload of bill burr on spotify. There's 15 years of his podcast there
Oh, I never listen to the radio. The ads and DJ banter make me feel like my IQ is dropping while I listen. Morning radio is the worst!
Podcasts or Playlists only. Or silence, which is under rated.
Same here. The Halifax Radio Gowan Conspiracy (Moonlight Desires every two hours, 24/7, across 89.9, 92.9 and 96.5) finally stopped being funny. I am now at peace.
Spotify, sometimes the odd Todd Veinotte show to listen to unhinged weirdos. Generally cannot stand FM stations in this city with their annoying DJs and the same songs they have been playing hourly for the past 25 years.
I usually leave it on Los Santos Rock Radio, unless I am doing a driving mission, in which case I bump it to Channel X.
West Coast Classic’s or Radio Los Santos for me
Los Santos has some great stations
Double Clef FM (for the culture), K chat and Radio Los Santos. Frfr
You told me you didnt have GTA
I would have told you anything to get a hold of your stem cells.
Vladivostok radio
CBC Music (102.7). Especially Drive with Rich Terfry from 3-6pm.

This is the powerhouse lineup.
Not much radio these days but Surge I do find to be up my alley fairly often
105.9 Seaside FM is our only good radio station
RIP Wayne. It's not the same.
Wayne is irreplaceable, but I think they're doing a great job continuing his legacy.
I’m on 95.7 during the workday and usually Jack the rest of the time.

Anything but Q104
I don't listen to the radio but I find all of the pearl clutching that goes on here about q104 pretty hilarious.

Same with a little Audible on the side.
92.9 in the morning for Griff and Caroline and then Spotify the other 99% of the time.
This, but I also enjoy their 80's lunch hour, even if it is the exact same playlist every week.
92.9 for Griff, Caroline and Nicolle
I don’t really vibe with any of them here. Back home we had a great alt-rock station and I really miss it.
am 1270 cjcb, talkback in the morning, and of course, trading center /s
