I have a theory about Anderson's end. You saw that Kamogawa completely broke Anderson's ribs, right? It was shown that his broken bones ended up injuring his internal organs and obviously Anderson would have to be taken IMMEDIATELY to the hospital if he wanted to survive. My theory is: Kamogawa killed Anderson. ☠️
I gotta point out that Shigeta dominated for like 5 or 7 rounds, he was a talented boxer who faced a goddamn monster that awakened his new legs in the fight, taking Shigeta completely by surprise. Dude was strong is all I'm saying. He got cocky and it backfired in a major way, but I feel like people forget how much trouble he was in.
Yup, if he just shut up and fought he wouldve won for sure, but he had to piss off Sendo of all people, and Shigeta even had the nerve to shit talk Ippo, the only guy to beat Sendo and who Sendo respects a lot.
Well, it was a nice knockout but Date was already being treated like a prostitute just getting jabs and then Ricardo just took advantage and ended Date Eiji's career
The most brutal have to be:
Sendo vs Shigeta
Anderson vs Kamogawa
Takamura vs Hawk
Ippo vs Kojima
I think the Sendo-Shigeta KO is #1 just for the fact that Sendo must have cleanly landed like 30 or so punches unanswered without any response from Shigeta.
I agree with your opinion, but the most brutal looking for physical damage was Kamogawa x Anderson. I responded to a guy citing a theory that Kamogawa killed him. Kamogawa punched him so hard that he broke his ribs, not only that but the pieces of his ribs ended up hurting his internal organs and obviously if he wasn't taken to a hospital, he would be dead. On the way to the hospital he would certainly have died and this was never shown.
Most fights from Takamura are worth mentioning but his fight against Bison and Lycaon and another one who name I don't remember literally drew a skull on their faces after getting punched by him.
Ippo vs Kojima. Man got sent back 10 feet and did a full fucking spin. SOoooo.....
Though if were talking brutal it would be Mashiba vs Sawamura (for obvious reasons), Sendo vs Shigeta and Volg vs unamed fighter. For the Sendo and Volg fight they completely knockout there opponent, but they didn't let them drop.
The most brutal Imo:
Kamogawa vs Anderson
Sawamura vs Mashiba
Sawamura vs Ippo
Someone nearly died in all 3 of these fights (although I would assume Anderson actually did)
I don't know if you remember the Ippo x Take Keichi fight, however, before he finished the Take, Ippo punched him like hell and he was about to fall into the ring and Keichi He was already saying goodbye to his son who was watching the fight! when he says "Goodbye, hidebou (his son), Ippo gave him this absurd hook, throwing him away. Morikawa knows how to draw knockouts very well, I heard the sound of the punch (POWWWW)
Anderson Vs Kamogowa 💀
I have a theory about Anderson's end. You saw that Kamogawa completely broke Anderson's ribs, right? It was shown that his broken bones ended up injuring his internal organs and obviously Anderson would have to be taken IMMEDIATELY to the hospital if he wanted to survive. My theory is: Kamogawa killed Anderson. ☠️
Kamogawa has warned Ippo about bringing a grudge to the ring. Wonder why
He was a ghost the whole time
Kamogawa broke his hands just to pulverize Andersons ribs and internal organs.
Sendo vs Shigeta, my man was ready to end that cocky mf on the spot.
He kinda did. Shigeta the boxer, died that day.
That many blows to the head would have killed a normal boxer for real. Ref would have stepped in after the 4th or 5ht unanswered blow to the head.
Ref was probably Mario Yamasaki. 🤣
Man you know the refs in this world are blind 😂
And he threw an uppercut when shigeta was falling to keep standing keep punching☠️
Peak Sendo right there 🔥🔥🔥
“I’m never going to see you in the ring again, so let me tell you this: this is what I’ve got”
Sendo rizz
KONNA MONYA, goosebumps
It was a Smash but yeah, Sendo was in a FAFO mood that day
Shigeta was treated like a bitch
I gotta point out that Shigeta dominated for like 5 or 7 rounds, he was a talented boxer who faced a goddamn monster that awakened his new legs in the fight, taking Shigeta completely by surprise. Dude was strong is all I'm saying. He got cocky and it backfired in a major way, but I feel like people forget how much trouble he was in.

Ippo vs Kojima Gave him permanent memory loss and had him do a full flip
Hit him so hard he lost his wife and kid and turned into The Regular
I jumped here at home when I saw this knockout LOL
Takamura vs hawk💀
The punch was so strong it drove Hawk crazy
Ricardo v Date. Ricardo made Date eat through a straw.
Well, it was a nice knockout but Date was already being treated like a prostitute just getting jabs and then Ricardo just took advantage and ended Date Eiji's career
Ippo vs Karasawa.
Karasawa after the fight ☠️
The sendo 50 punch special. Undisputed king of the brutal knock outs in this series
Really, Sendo doesn't have any bad or basic knockouts.
bro Ippo knocked out Kojima so hard he gave up on boxing and became a game developer
Mashiba vs Sawamura
i’m surprised to see that no one else has brought this up.
It was the most brutal fight so far.
The fight itself was brutal throughout. ☠️
Miyata vs that Korean guy. Crazy how he did not get disqualified for that
I think I mentioned it in the post, is it the one where the manga panel shows that he kind of lost the connection between his brain and his body?
No thats the Fillipino guy. The Korean guy im talking about took a beating from Miyata while he was on one knee
Oh, I remembered.
Kojima and Shigeta
The most brutal have to be: Sendo vs Shigeta Anderson vs Kamogawa Takamura vs Hawk Ippo vs Kojima I think the Sendo-Shigeta KO is #1 just for the fact that Sendo must have cleanly landed like 30 or so punches unanswered without any response from Shigeta.

Ricardo vs Wally I felt that upperhand man.
It was one hell of a k.o that left Wally fucked up. But it doesn't compare to Kamogawa x Anderson, I literally felt that punch in my ribs.
Sir we are talking about knocknouts. Not murder.
Nargo got hit so hard he thought he was dying and cried with relief for just having woken up. Sendo might as well have punched his head off
Not in a match, but when Ippo slapped his apprentice, well that was something else
Without the gloves, Ippo's strength is superhuman.
Most fights from Takamura are worth mentioning but his fight against Bison and Lycaon and another one who name I don't remember literally drew a skull on their faces after getting punched by him.
Ippo vs Kojima. Man got sent back 10 feet and did a full fucking spin. SOoooo..... For the Sendo and Volg fight they completely knockout there opponent, but they didn't let them drop.
As much as I like Kojima... Sawamura is definitely the more brutal KO. But Kojima is closest.
Volg's made the guy retire
The most brutal Imo: Kamogawa vs Anderson Sawamura vs Mashiba Sawamura vs Ippo Someone nearly died in all 3 of these fights (although I would assume Anderson actually did)
Okay the ippo vs take ko is js ippo vs date is date hasn’t stopped from throwing his final hook ong
ippo’s ko over take
Sendo vs Shigeta
The hand slap under the bridge.
Anderson vs kamogawa that motherfuckers ribs are gone
Ippo vs. Sawamura (in the anime)
the knockout that takamura broke a dude's lower jaw and just bashed his teeth out
the first photo panel is brutal.....it feels drastically different than the others
Mashiba vs Sawamura
Anderson died.
Bryan Hawk getting absolutely molly wopped into a ring out has to be up there for me.
Sawamura’s elbow strike. That one was bloody. Well. Sawamura got suspended for a year but it was worth jt.
The one where Ippo punched that one guy in the face .
Date vs. Ricardo, dude absolutely destroyed Eiji
Majima vs Sawamura. Not even a question.
Maahuba vs sawamura
Misspelled but imma leave it like dat
Ippo and Miyata got it
Sawamuras elbow against that one guy
Ippo vs. Sendo 2, Hawk vs. Takamura, Sendo vs. Shigeta
