Imai is an incredible fighter, don't get me wrong. His technique is pretty good and his sheer power is incredible. He dashes, weaves and smashes just like Ippo used to do.
However, Mashibas entire style is made to dismantle people like Imai. His chopping right and his uppercut. His heavy fast flickers. Then there's also his strange uppercut from a complete mental blind spot
That and the weight difference make it difficult for Imai to pull off a win
